When lowering the vehicle to its lowest setting there was some minor inner liner rubbing when the wheels were turned fully

I notice you did the work w/the truck on your hydraulic jack...I'm going to add splash guards to my wife's escalade, where would you recommend jack stands being placed front and rear? I can't find any guidance from GM on this! I could always do one at a time w/my jack but thought i'd put front up then rear up to save time (in theory)

Also, where did you get your all black Cadillac emblems? I was thinking I'd be doing monochrome but the all black looks fantastic

Hey Don!! Curious, I installed these on my Silverado as well… I have been racking my brain though on something and just wondering if you have come up with a solution, if we get a flat are we removing the spacer on the side of the road as the spare won’t have the notches on the back of the rim or is there another solution you’ve thought of? Thanks for all the videos!!

I carry two socket sizes if I had to take the spacer off and throw a spare on. Also I would ensure the spare gets moved up to the front and would keep it in 2wd while I limped to wherever I am going. Or take the spacers off of both sides temporarily.

I have a 21 Yukon Denali, and I put the spacers on and got rubbing. I have the front and rear splash / mud guards on. I noticed that you have them on the rear, but not the front. was that intentional, and please let us know if you experience any rubbing with the spacers on the front. If not, I will have to either trim, or take the mud flaps off, I guess!

The front flaps for the Cadillac aren’t compatible with the Power Folding steps. That’s why I didn’t put them on

So, 5 days after watching this video, I received my spacers from Amazon (Thanks for the link ;-D), went ahead and installed them immediately. Won't lie, in person, it took me a couple of days before I got used to it. In videos she looked hot but in person, it needs a little growing into. Especially the rear. They look a little more aggressive than the front. Having said all of the above, I wanted to ask, after the spacers, is your wife's Escalade riding a wee bit, however, noticeably harsher? I mean the ride is still fairly smooth but now the bumps and imperfections of the road feel a little more pronounced rather than being soaked up which is what was the case before. Are you/your wife experiencing any of this? I'm on the fence and may remove the spacers even though I've grown to like the look of it, Several Caddy owners have even asked me how come my truck looks more aggressive than theirs. So I can't lie, I am loving the little attention that it gets, but I'm not settling well with the new ride quality. I look forward to your feedback. Oh yeah, I have air ride/magna ride. I'm not sure if your truck is equipped with this...could this be causing the issue??

I didn’t notice any changes in ride quality. We have the upgraded adaptive and air suspension too. I just confirmed with my wife that she hasn’t noticed anything either except the looks/stance has improved

Exhaust is a tricky one. It comes down to personal preference and also if you tow, you may want to be careful not to go too aggressive. Towing heavy can lead to an annoying drone of you pick the wrong system. Mine is the Borla SType. Borla makes 3 models. Touring is the tamest. SType is the midrange. Atak is the loudest. Borla makes the Touring model for GM and the call it ‘performance’ exhaust.

I know this is not related to this, but.....My 2021 Silverado was built during the chip shortage. It was built without DFM. I get 22 mpg. 5.3. True V8. No problems at all

Quick tip when you torque the wheels it is easier and safer to push on the torque wrench then pull it save your back. Also curious who your camera person is lol

Another tip on the spacers is to use a pry bar between lugs so it doesn't spin and you can get the full torque. Takes a bit of doing since these require 140 ft/lbs and holding the pry bar with one hand and the ratchet in the other.
