I saw it seven times on Broadway and the six times he has been Lola I have cried the whole song. This is heartbreaking... And now I am crying again. This is the BEST MUSICAL I have ever seen. Ever!

While Billy Porter's voice is amazing, I love this song sung by J Harrison Ghee so much more! Awesome voice!

I agree with Barb K. J Harrison Ghee sings this song better than Billy Porter. Once Lola & Charlie sang together, their voices blended so beautifully as if they sang as one. This version of this song made me tear up a bit.

J Harrison Ghee's voice is much better than billy porter's but acting for me goes to billy.

Totally agree, His voice had much emotion, but the body acting i felt it a bit flat. In my personal opinion the one who mixed better the singing and acting was Matt Henry

@@MrHades-vm2hm ugh so sooo true. He is my fave. I've watched his version like a hundred times and it still tugs my heart. Sometimes I'd go back to his video and it still would bring me to tears.

It's interesting! Because I think maybe that's just how he's taking the character. Kinda frozen and still scared because he wants his dad to love him. The emotionless thing you see is just him being numb or the sad acceptance that he knows his dad won't accept him
