I just purchased both the addition and the subtraction books. Can I teach from both books each week or stick with just addition for 6 weeks and move to subtraction the next 8 weeks? I don’t want to confuse my 7 year old daughter but if they can be taught congruently, that would be wonderful. I was just wondering how it was actually designed to be taught.

My copy of this just arrived today. I’m excited to try it out. That first lesson looks similar to what I’ve tried to tell my 6 year old son when he’s doing his addition drill sheets. Hopefully the visual will help it click for him. Your daughter is adorable. I laughed when she said, “by the way, this video is not sponsored by Barbie.” 😂

Yes it did, we still had to keep practicing but it absolutely helped her get it down.
