All of these are great options, I sometimes put my meinl hihat tambourine/jingle on my snare batter head, and another one is putting a sheet of paper on the snare can give a fat sound too. Great video guys!

Oh see I thought you were gonna show a super muffling technique and then how you boost that sound in the studio with compression and gain to create a completely unique snare sound that you can then mix fully wet or partially with the original snare sound. I completely learned something new here that is also a super creative too! This channel is phenomenal.

Thanks for your time, energy and another great video,Cody and crew-much appreciated!! I tie 2 small loops of bead chain -1 to a lug on the upper left and 1 to the upper right side of my snare so they stay mostly out of the way and can be pulled on and off individually and easily with your “Mano throw off” or drum stick.Different sizes -different results.A perimeter bead chain hung by string from the upper 3 or 4 lugs is fun too-also uses the same”Mano throw off “. $3 or so at a local hardware store got a 3 foot length so there’s some left for cymbals…..🎉☮️❤️🥁👊🏽
