Additives, food quality and shelf-life

Food quality can be related to microbiological causes, but can certainly be chemical or physical related too, which may too be indirectly of microbial origin. However, regardless of the type of food spoilage which means a reduction in the expected quality of food, what we want to highlight in this video is that it is the expectation of consumers for longer shelf-life products that drive the demand for food additives.
