Hello all! What a wonderful WIP and Waffle!!! I can't believe it's day 7 already! I spent today finishing up some homemade Christmas gifts and upgrading mine and my mom's drill storage. We outgrew our small storage bin so I had to upgrade us to a bigger one. Now we have ample room to continue growing! After Christmas I will post a photo of the Christmas gifts in the group. I'm just worried someone might see who shouldn't if you know what i mean. Dont want to ruin the surprise Happy Advent zesties!

Really loving the event this year and my favourite mini is chart version as it is a new challenge for me. I have purchased the Diamond Art Studio advent from last year and the floral surprise but they are next year projects for me as i still have Sailaway to finish. I managed to keep up with you this session YAY! I had a little sneaky feel of the Day 11 advent calendar gift and can’t guess what it is so super excited to open it for my birthday :)

Hi Rebecca & Zesties, Can't thank you enough. This is always such a supportive group. Day 2 with Pattern Keeper has gone so much smoother. Am loving all the bits in the Advent. This is my very first Advent and I am pleased my leopard kept guard over it from delivery till Dec 1st. I could see it but am pleased I did not give in to temptation. Am loving working on this with everyone and so thankful for all you do to make this such a supportive group, love your positive attitude.

WooHoo I finally finished Baby in the Grass from DAS last night, it is an adorable painting but oh the confetti was agony at times 😂😂😂 I also finished the mystery advent one so started the round door one that you are doing on the 8th. Now I can go back to doing Spookmas 😅 December is proving to be a fun month so far 🤞🏻🤞🏻😁🥰👍🏻💚

I did get what needed to be done both yesterday and today. I finished the tree just 48 hours past my Wednesday deadline. It’s a huge tree and we have hundreds of keep sake ornaments. Today I’m feeling accomplished and did a bunch of housework between diamond painting sessions. Cleaning 2 of 3 bathrooms and folding and putting away a couple loads of laundry, I am skipping the Disney release. It’s too soon since all that Black Friday spending! I bought 8 canvases so I am taking it easy for the foreseeable future.

My jigsaw board is the inside of an old broken 24x36 inch frame. That means I can cover my puzzle progress with the plexiglass part so we can still use the table without getting food on the puzzle every day. It’s working perfectly so far. I see myself getting more puzzles like this!

The way I told you "hold on" while reading my comment because I am working on day 22 of the DAS advent and had to pause to figure out the right way for a few drills to lay and got confused haha. It really does feel like we are in the same room and diamond painting together. Also, put positive vibes towards my Mom, who broke (and possibly dislocated) a toe really bad and is going to urgent care later today to get it taken care of.

Another little trick you can use if your labels are not peeling off your containers is to use your hair dryer to warm up the stickers. Run it over them for about 30 seconds or until the container feels warm then they should peel right off. It's always worked like a charm for me!

Happy 7th everyone! I finished my big diamond painting today. I started the month with 16 sections left of it. I wanted to get through it quicker because it was a ton of dark background that was hard to fit. And I was sick of it. I saved the face for last, which was worth the wait. Hi Rebecca and everyone! I am loving watching this years advent. I finally got my 90 year old grams diamond painting (she’s been a cross stitcher for at least 50 years) and she is tearing thru my stash. She is able to do it easier than cross stitching which she finds harder now because of the arthritis in her hands. I’m so happy this craft is bringing her as much joy as it’s bringing me. I’m working on “Brave Soldier” by DAC for my boyfriend as a Christmas present (he’s an army vet) so much black but it’s worth it lol. I also went onto to Amazon to look at jigsaw Advents. I wasn't INTENDING on buying one, however there was a really nice picture of a decorated front door flanked by 2 decorated trees. It was reduced by 54% so I thought why not & clicked it 😂😂😂😂 it has just been delivered so I will open it later after I've finished my section . . . . . UPDATE - I have decided to keep it til January as it can be a miserable month after all the fun at Christmas. I will do it on the run up to my b'day on the 25th 😊😊

I’ve been Christmas shopping today and apart from the money I give to my nephew and his fiancée I think I’m done! They are going to Las Vagas to watch rugby league in February I think it is, so this year it will be dollars I get instead. Which my niece is going to sort out for me as she works in a supermarket with a post office. All I have to do is transfer the money over. Now I have to wrap the present mountain that has taken over my living room! 🤣 I’m finishing the last section on canvas A before I start that though. I showed my sister all of my goodies from my advent calendar and she suggested doing door 3 of A woodland Winter’s tale on the blank tree decoration but change the colours to match my colour scheme, so I think I’m going to do that. I’ll probably colour it first with alcohol markers and do it in rounds. I love the full pot of diamond dust drills, I got #827 which is a lovely blue. See you tomorrow! x

Note to self: tape cover paper with non stick side down to your chart. Twice I laid my chart down on top of my uncovered area before starting today. 😛😂

Today’s activity after completing our advent? Hooking up our new smart TV…the Christmas present hubby and I bought for each other. You know it is really for him BUT I did get my new Samsung tablet a couple of months ago. 😂 Let’s see if the TV will out smart us today. Might have to call in reinforcements of our son…who is more tech savvy than us. 😂😂
