Addo is synonymous with the Elephant Park held within its borders. A small town located in the Sarah Baartman region of the Eastern Cape about an hours drive away from Port Elizabeth; Addo has many great features to it that is independent to the famed and gracious elephants.
The town offers delightful accommodation options as well as excellent activities. Surrounded by dense forest and grassy patches, the area is predominantly a citrus farming community. April to September is citrus season when visitors to Addo can watch the citrus being picked in the orchards and sent off to the various packhouses. The town is a hive of activity in May during the popular Citrus Festival.
