0:22 remember a older call point used to be there in your older videos but I was sad you didn't test it before
@testlogs90055 жыл бұрын
there was no cabling going to the call point at that point in time it was just to cover the hole haha. eventually managed to get permission to put it there but its tempting to replace it with the KAC slide front with a discovery protocol as it fits in with the curvy MK logic plus switches and doesnt have a face for radio :).

Hello. What technology is used to Transmit the Carbon monoxide Alarm to the fire alarm panel ?
@testlogs90055 жыл бұрын
aico have wireless communication modules for their smokes, heats , multisensors and CO sensors that all get paired together and when one goes off they all go off. I have the panel interface unit that will short the inputs on the panel, i have programmed the panel to latch on the alert contacts when they get shorted. take a look at a video where the door of the panel is open you will see thin wires running from the terminals those are for the panel interface module. www.aico.co.uk/product/ei413-radiolink-panel-interface-module/ www.connevans.co.uk/product/5672665/40CM208WRF/Aico-Ei208WRF-RadioLINK-Carbon-Monoxide-Alarm

Why did it take so long that one heat detector to activate also why was it blinking weirdly?
@itzmxrkomg4 жыл бұрын
Noahandrews Andrews because its heat, it’s not just at the snap of his fingers, it has to heat up. It was blindly weirdly because of pre alarm and the polling does it because it’s about to go off.
@jcfirealarms57803 жыл бұрын
I don't know why it took that long to activate, but Discovery detectors tend to take longer to activate than XP95 ones, also Discovery devices poll every so often which causes the blinking. They blink faster when the analogue reading rises (i.e. when it's detecting smoke, heat, or mcp pressed).

How did you get to make the fire alarms do a different tone for carbon monoxide than fires?
@testlogs90055 жыл бұрын
i may do a video on it as i think it will be an interesting topic to cover.
