The thing about mods is that it's mod-ifications to a game. Every official Mojang update technically just modifies Minecraft, in a more official way. And I guess I just want to say that the issue is not about Minecraft becoming more and more modded. The true issue is Mojang being too slow on updates that everything they're bound to do from here on out is just trying to catch up to the more innovative and creative mod community.
