dude making the ears bigger with the gauges honestly made him look nicer to me, ngl. It really speaks to the variety of human taste ig LOL I think you'd have to do an extremely thin nose to help make him look more 'ugly.' Like one you'd expect on a vampire or zombie that looks like it'd snap in half if it got bonked. Big noses and also hooked noses usually look really good to a lot of people, I think.

as a traditional artist that moved to digital, i only use.. 9 layers. seems like a lot, right? 1 for the sketch, 1 for the background (if it’s hand drawn,) 1 for the line art, 1 for the coloring, 2 for the eye highlight and shadows n stuff (add regular highlights on the line art layer) and 3 layers for the hair highlights.

hi here to inform the /hj is a tone indicator for half joking a tone indicator is something that neurodivergent people often add to the end of sentences over text because a lot of neurodivergent people have trouble discerning what the tone of a message is without verbal inflictions (like “great job”, if it’s sarcasm it might not read that way to some people so /s, or / sarcasm, would be added to the end)

To add: We are ARTISTS, there is no reason not to draw poc, like what would be an excuse not to? I'm not saying "omggg if you don't draw poc then you're racist!"
