Everyone needs to stop using 80% of their items in their lives. The majority of products are made by underpaid workers in terrible situations. Perhaps just empathize with folks who can never afford such a product. No need to attack other companies. That’s where I totally went from loving the video to feeling eah…. huh. This is about you and your viewers. One day a person will get a product like this and have the courage to say…”damn this is way overpriced and so many people would buy and get to enjoy this product if it was affordable “ I appreciate your honest effort to be creative. It’s a great channel either way.

"You can seem like a millionaire to one person and a homeless person to the next. The ants think you are a giant and the trees don't even notice you. You think you have a boring life, but the next person might be striving for your lifestyle. Comparison is the thief of joy so stay kind, keep loving life and enjoy you. Life is all just a big game of perspective, and there are no winners.”

I have been following you for a long time and remain happy with what you make and how you make your music. A video like this, in which you show your vulnerability, is very valuable to me. I too am full of insecurities. My head is full of ideas, but I can't get them out. Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with ADHD. This explains a lot. My creativity, but also my insecurity. I continue to watch you and your creativity and tranquility remain an inspiration. It helps to always go one step further. Go ahead and keep sharing this! Thanks!

I greatly appreciate your positivity-forward attitude 💜 I always strive for that myself, trying to only comment if I have something positive to say. In this world of music and art, there is no need for personal attacks and negativity; the stakes are low and we are all enjoying a hobby/passion together. And I fully understand that feeling of one negative critical comment being the only thing you can think about for the rest of the day, even if 40 people said they love your song. Working on getting better at dealing with those, though luckily pretty rare for me, I imagine with the volume of comments you get it's pretty tough to deal with. Just keep being positive and spreading the music (on whatever machine it is, who cares!)!

That was a masterclass in how to respond to negativity with authenticity and grace.. wow! And thanks for the reminder; making music is the best way for me too to transform troublesome energies, proven many times, it's just difficult to get started when the mind is preoccupied with complications or stress - but it's so healing to dissolve and flow into harmonic soundscapes like that. Beautiful and inspiring words and music as always, thank you for shining your light so brightly! ❤

A dignified and mature response to the verbal and emotional storm of last. You're a good person, Frederico. Don't let them tell you otherwise. You indulge us in your creative world and beautiful music. Billions of people on this planet, and there's always ones that misread your intentions. Don't let them get to you, it's just not worth it. Just continue doing what you do best, for the people that care about it.

Sorry you’ve had to deal with this. Not the stress anyone needs in their lives. Honestly, just ban any one who can’t be civil and respectful from your channel. You don’t owe them any explanation for doing so (although yours was very articulate and enjoyable!). It’s really that simple. Don’t even give them the air. And by doing so you will also relieve the rest of us from having to ingest some random’s emotional angst and fury regarding the pricing on a product he will never choose to purchase. It’s like watching some sort of weird psychological social phenomenon playing out on social media. We live in strange times. Keep up the good work!

Wow, such beautiful music! ❤ Well said! It’s so sad you had to deal with hate despite your dedication to creating content for others. I tried starting my own channel around the OP-1 Field release, but it was disheartening to face so much negativity from people upset about the device’s price. It’s also sad to see so much hate toward a company I admire. My experiences with them as a customer have always been great. Their products are unique and excellent, and I wouldn’t want them to change just because some people wish they were a different kind of company. I feel the same about the OP-XY. I was hoping for an OP-Z upgrade, and it went beyond my expectations. I hope you keep making content-I’ll definitely be here to watch and listen!

I find that if people are truly honest, open and sincere that makes them engaging. It also is a good base from which to set out to create engaging art. But, the flipside it exposes vulnerability which there will always be malicious people drawn to attack. It's easier for them to teardown than create. Music is a great place of refuge; but I find it's can be helpful to have more than one outlet - the natural world is another place to just be. And each one makes you appreciate the other more. On that note, I really appreciated the lovely film-like tone to your video - and the tone of the narration was really nice. It was a nice counterpoint to those really beautifully satisfying electro-plastic Perfourmer arpeggios.

Federico, I discovered you some time ago talking about making tape loops. I was so enchanted by your genuine passion for what you were doing. I was disgusted by the comments on the OP-XY. It took a lot not to go off on the whole lot of them. It was truly gross behavior on their part. You certainly *do* display an enthusiasm for music and the tools that you create it with. It's infectious. Imagine that, sharing what you love with other people in hopes of inspiring them. Keep at it. Side note: I'm loving the OP-XY, already one of my favorite tools I've ever used.

one of the best videos i have seen in a while. we are all angry, scared and confused. some are so far gone, they do not even know anything else. buying a cool device might be the only thing left for some people to feel anything. youtube influencers do become a substitute for real friends, real interaction. it sucks, if that is your world and now you cannot be part of it anymore. but it is an illusion you have been trapped in. only calling it out, might make a difference. silence will drag us down deeper. being a musician and influencer does take an incredible amount of work and time to keep the lights on. nothing to be jealous about, really. how many years of no return until you get send stuff for free? if you find yourself often raging on the internet, just leave it be for a while. feel how addicted you are. realize and change. stop watching for new gear and use what you have to make music! remember the cool tune from your favorite retro game, remember the beatles song that you like, the sonata from beethoven or that sick mr. oizo or prodigy tune? realize what "gear" they were using. you have all you need. the difference between them and us is: they did not waste their time screaming into the void of the internet.

...runs back to previous video to read the comments. Federico I reread as many as I could, including my own response to Craig's comment about not including critiques in your demoes of free hardware you've received. Can't seem to find the personal attacks you mention, perhaps they've been deleted, but the criticisms I read seemed reasonably fairly presented and not pointedly negative or jealous as you indicate? But no matter, I'm just sorry you've felt it needed addressing...but very glad you did :) Thank you. Duly noted. I've been producing media for 20+ years now, and from the early days of KZbin...I know how it can sting. But you don't owe us here in the comments section anything I guess, so do what you do and ignore the flies on the windshield of life

This is so good! You are amazing Oora!! I have seen so much raw hatred towards people owning the OP-XY and its sickening. When I first saw the OP-XY I immediately felt this would be a good alternative to my unused sequencers. So I sold some gear and got the OP-XY. However, the overwhelming bitterness I have seen online towards people like me that are genuinely excited for the OP-XY has put a really bad taste in my mouth. I am so glad you posted this video and addressed the hate. Keep doing what you are doing Oora! Hate will never win!

Hey man, I just recently started watching your videos, I think they are awesome and its opened my eyes of what further I can do when shopping for synth equipment. To be fair, I'm simply primarily a guitar player. But lately I've been listening to a lot of stuff from 80's, 90's, 2000's that have equipment like this involved, I'm wanting to get into it. I think this material is awesome and inspiring, if anyone is b#@!ing and hating and whining about the equipment that you use, I think they should STFU. What you do on here is amazing to me and I love hearing/talking gear. Thanks for making these videos. On a side note, I've got a KORG synth which replaced a Yamaha during the pandemic (It just simply died, power supply issue within the device), I'm still getting familiar with it (the KORG I mean), I've been able to use it for a couple music scores for my friends movies/mini movies that they make and its been doing what I want it to do. But, watching this stuff (your videos) makes me want to expand more on that side of music. You keep doing what you're doing, unfortunately, the internet is always going to have debbie downers that just like to whine.

I'm always inspired by what I hear here..............whether it's you talking, doing tutorials, gear reviews, or doing an original synth session.......................The fact that anyone would have the time and energy to send you disturbing and frustrating messages is a real disappointment, but we know that there are all types of people out there, who have access to all this great, free content online, and then leave disrespectful content. Sadly, it's often these comments that we remember............................If they had any real talent, they'd be busy creating, instead of being rude....................We can only control what WE do, say, stand for, create.....no control of what others think, say, etc..................I've got such gratitude for your offerings. Rock on Bro.....if I didn't live half way around the world, I'd try to arrange a jam with you sometime......Your uploads are Masterful!!! Great ending sentiment.......................

You shouldn't have to justify yourself to commenters that are only letters on a screen. Also so great to see you make the Vermona sing again. Recent subscriber here. I came for the music you do. When I saw the video about the OP-XY, I just skipped it. Not because I hate the product or anything, it is because I know it isn't a product for me nor my budget. No need to go there and rant about a thing and ruin your day (and even possibly others) with a bad comment. Glad you find it inspiring and you can enjoy it though. It is a musical instrument and you're making music with it. That's all that matters and this piece proves it, beautiful and thoughtful. There's too much hate on the Internet, let's spread more kindness. No need to hate on a video when you can choose to click on it or go to the next. No need to just scream to each other.

I have avoided starting a KZbin channel for the very reasons you've outlined. I am worried by the audacity that people have hiding behind fake names or located thousands of kilometres away, to say rude things, to feel the need to say something negative; and then I worry how I would take it, because I'm a sensitive guy and a fairly uncompetitive person. I really love your videos, what you say, what you don't say, the space between your words and music - and I admire you - apart from your talent and dedication, for having the courage to expose yourself to random people who can just say something unkind so easily. I couldn't do it, I think. I'm not made for this world of instant commentary and knee-jerk negativity offered without thought or consideration about the feelings of others. Thank you!

Thanks mate. I resonate with your words and I can tell you that exposure is both great and a curse. I am too sensitive and competitive, a really bad combo, so I completely understand you.

Your channel is awesome. Love your jams. Ignore the ignorance :) Sadly there is a lot of it in the world. They are usually not that brave in person. Keep it up man 🖤

So many of us are constantly inspired by everything you do. The unavoidable truth is that there will always be people whose personal insecurity will make them lash out. Some will be struggling to deal with their own issues, others may just be a-holes. I hope that it never gets in the way of you creating beautiful music, and one day the comments cause you more amusement than hurt. 🖤

Ignore the loud ones; they’re just the few who make the most noise. You’re doing an amazing job-thank you so much for that!

I fucking love it. Make something beautiful and simple. Then let go of your anger at the world at the same time. Say something. Make something. You sir are a light in the darkness and this video is one of the greatest things I've seen in the synth space in a very long time. Cheers brother and keep on expressing the light and the dark!

This is wonderful. Hate has become too normalized. You have put this all together perfectly. Keep on doing what makes you happy and most importantly, find the fun in it and enjoy the journey! It's hard but you have to just block out the hate as much as you can. Keep on going!

I don't think I'll ever be able to buy an expensive instruments but that's not the point: the point is that you Fede can make music with any instruments under your hands. The most important point is that everytime you play, it's visible, AUDIBLE that YOU FEEL what you play, whatever the setup. i love your music, your approach to people here on yt, your sensibility, kindness and the passion you put in. Thanks for all you do. KEEP ON PLAYING, GIOCARE, SUONARE
