Addressing The Reality Of Forgiveness Among The Saints
Many " Christians " genuinely believe they have a seat assigned to them in Heaven. Their belief, of course, is hinged on their claim to Christianity, their impeccable church attendance, serving and doing everything outwardly to give the appearance of having an authentic relationship with God.
In this teaching, we will explore and surprisingly discover that the hearts of many "Christians" are overflowing with the invisible sin of unforgiveness! Join me in this eye-opening teaching that will perhaps draw you to repentance if you fall into this category of Christians.

Forgiveness opens up so many blessings. I used to carry so much unforgiveness and offense in my heart. Once I obeyed and let go of all , I received healing not only emotionally but physically. God has been so awesome and prayers that I had prayed over so many years have been answered. God is so good🙏🏾

I needed to hear this and walk in it. It’s been a hard journey forgiving someone who betrayed me when they promised to be by my side for the rest of our lives. The sin of infidelity crushes the one left behinds self esteem and worth. Recently he married the one he cheated on me with. God has pressed so heavy on me to forgive. I thought I had forgiven and it was evident I didn’t. Thank you for this amazing teaching. Pray that I continue to walk in forgiveness

Thank you for this truth. We are in direct violation of God's law when we hold unforgiveness for any reason. For years I held onto offenses and it created issues in my body and separated me from God. After listening to your teachings I realized I had to let it go for me. I am now healed. Romans 8:38-39 [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thank you for this awesome revelation. I think it's so important to pray about who we allow in our lives. Satan will send his agents to do us so wrong that we have a hard time forgiving them. It is best to never have these people in our lives to begin with, and this includes some "Christians".

Forgiveness is not for the offender but it gives freedom to be offended. This is how it was explained to me. Trauma happened in the life of the offender. Demons are working through the life of the offender. If their spirit is weak, the demon will bully them into submission. Ask God to show you what doors are open in your spiritual life. Pray to close them. Commit to read the word every day for the rest of your life. If you want God's attention, give him yours. The victim has no idea what happened in the life of the victimizer. Fill your spirit with the word every day, that those demons that transfered during the trauma does not overwhelm you. Feeding your spirit the word of God is like giving Popeye spinach. The demons are Brutus.

It is the first thing God taught me when I got saved, forgiveness. I asked him to teach me forgiveness and that day I opened my bible and read genesis. and He taught me through the story of Abraham and Lot who had to create boundaries something about forgiveness and boundaries; that forgiveness is a decision and has nothing to do with eating with the person after or sum'. Forgiveness has nothing to do with your emotions and feelings no it is a decision He told me to create BRIDGES in this case and not WALLS as Abraham and Lot. I will never forget that. Like, give the ability to those people to call on you when they need help and you being able to help them while having boundaries. He is not against healthy boundaries, it is necessary. He is Himself a God of order that sets boundaries for things (Genesis1). Abraham and Lot had to separate but Abraham had room to help Lot when He was in trouble. Not walls because love: agape is charity and requires us to assist others. If you want to live a righteous life, of course. The holy spirit will always convict you because most of the time after hurt, the enemy will send a spirit of pride to make you challenge what the holy spirit is telling you to do and make you justify yourself, in not letting it go. God taught me that it may sometimes even require apologising even if you're not the one who did wrong; to shut down the spirit of PRIDE. God can't and won't listen to you while having a whole view of your prideful heart asking for His forgiveness while refusing to be at peace with people and fighting with the holy spirit on this matter. The holy spirit will always tell you what you need to do in each case. He is there for you and not against you and know what you need to deal with to keep your heart clean to work out your own salvation. Sometimes somebody may do something to me and the holy spirit keeps telling me "before coming to God if you neighbour..." I know it's for my good, I know He is there to keep me in right standing with God so I need to accept the grace of God and go and do it. Our christian journey is a journey of humility. When I didn't listen to the holy spirit by saying I'm not mad, I don't have anything against that person. He asked me "then why is it difficult for you to engage a conversation with that person? why is it difficult for you to say I apologise for whatever may have hurt you, I love you." I realised pride was there and forgiveness was not the only thing He was trying to deal with. Sometimes God used incredible ways to tell me to go and settle matters where I was have not been in fault but it doesn't matter. I had a dream of me talking to that person, He made that person name come in my dms and I saw myself talking with the person. I knew I had to go and do it in real life. Or showing someone being bitter concerning me, quarrelling with me in my dream and showing resentment; me just listening. He was telling me to just apologise. Other times He made them come to me in different ways for different reasons to test my heart concerning them and expose me to myself then, I then settled the matter. Again, God wants to see you in heaven so He is going to let you know your heart condition and it's up to you now, He will even insist; it is even better when you ask Him to examine your heart. Now it's natural. I want to be in right standing with God so forgiving people is natural; it's spiritual warfare against Satan. He loves dirt in your heart, he feels like you're just inviting him, which you are honestly; so he comes legally

Thank you God always give me the word, when I need to hear it, God is always watching all of us. We have one life and then the judgment, We must forgive those that has trespassed again us. This is very hard to do but this is our test let us pass this test and forgive, the Devil don't want us to forgive ,because he know we will end up in judgment by God. But !! Those evil wicked people who do dirt against others are also being tested they must repent by asking God for mercy and forgiveness and it good to go to the person they have trespass against for forgiveness, because of the hardness of their heart many will not repent the devil his happy about this because he knows that person is going to hell, Both are hard, to repent of sin or forgive someones

Pastor Ewing, you were reading in Proverbs chapter 25 verse 21. What does it mean your enemy will reap coals of fire on their head when you begin helping them while they are doing evil to you? Proverbs 25:21-22 King James Version 21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: 22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.

Love is mostly portrayed as an action in the Bible. Your actions can determine your "love" for your enemies. We don't have to like them, big difference. Praying for them, blessing them, interacting with them with care and kindness are some of the actions mentioned as loving them. That "heaps coals on their head" and softens themselves towards you. If they're "irreconcilable" towards you, don't worry about trying to re-gain their trust or friendship. That's not up to us. We just do what God says for us to do, and the rest will pan out accordingly.

@a-a-rondavis9438

@@KevinLAEwing I personally disagree. If true sxual abuse happened, the child's father deserves nothing from the mother or child. I would not risk mine or my child's life just because they had partaken in the process of creating that child. Extra visits make me think a dangerous domestic violence situation will happen again. Only when the child's father has repented and been delivered of those spirits, and shows fruit of doing so, can that child come back to their father. Even then, that child will now have to deal with that abuse regardless of the parents' situation. You cannot feel ok with allowing a child's life to be wrecked by their biological dad simply because "we're Christians, and that means mending every relationship by any means necessary". Some things have to be let go. This woman needs a better father in that child's life.

After forgiving the perpetrator, if they desire to be close to you, yet not showing improvement or remorse, would it be advisable to continue in relationship such as visits, phone calls etc? In other words you have forgiven but not feeling safe to be around them. What do you do in such case, especially when it's a family member within your circles???

Forgiving someone does not equate to reigniting a relationship with them. Forgiving someone means to release them from whatever they did to you. It is clearing your heart of all hate, bitterness, offense, etc. Once this is done by the grace of God because it will be almost impossible to achieve this on your own. A relationship after the forgiveness is not mandatory.

So lets say i was apart of a Church but i leave because i was called by God to a marriage ministry, i tried to ignore it because my Pastor says i am not ready. Yet everytime i went somewhere people would come up to me and say God says he is waiting on you, still i ignore it because i am trying to submit to my leaders. I couldn't take it more so i approach him one more time pointing out to him what is happening the result still the same, anyway it ended up i had to leave but i parted without his blessings which he refuse to give, ameeting was held but i wasn't invited to this meeting and a lot of things was said. My question is does my leaders i need to resolved this or should we put it under the rug and continue with ministry though i invited him 3 times so we would resolve this and up to now he has not responded, what to do?

All souls belong to God. You are accountable to God. About your leader forgive him and everyone else regardless of what they said. Personally you don't need any man's blessings/release to exercise your gift, make sure on your end you have fully forgiven them. When Israel was living righteously Balaam couldn't curse him for God didn't find any iniquity in him. Let them be lest you antagonize them

This has always been my question too. I pray for them that they will prosper but I'm unable to return to relationship with them, especially when there's a high chance the abuse or hurt will happen again.

That's the dynamic I have a bone to pick with. If I were to truly forget this person's abuse or betrayal, then I would just go right back to them and be open to be abused again, because I forgot, remember? I think it's more of "Don't think about what they've done to you when you think of them." It'd be a form of unrighteous judgement, I guess? I can forgive and pray for whomever, but forgetting completely like the Lord does isn't something I'd call "possible" with the human brain. We don't touch the hot stove again because of the pain and possible injury it gave us. We are never forgetful of what hot objects or surfaces do to us. It's a survival mechanism with our own brains. I think staying away from an abusive partner, family member, friend, or co-worker isn't really any different. We are instructed to "loosen the rope" or even sever relationships completely if they're burdensome or abusive to us, yet we're supposed to "forget" completely what they've done to us? If I am seeing this right, wouldn't it be a contraditon in the Scripture? Then my perspective couldn't be right. I would need a different perspective to put this all together.

No, you forgive them, release them and yourself. That means when you see them, you can speak and / or hold a conversation with them without all the hate you once had for them in your heart. When you speak of them or if anyone ask about them your story will change to I'm praying all is well with them but I haven't heard from or saw them in a while, instead of saying that dog I dnt care or want to know where he or she is. Blessing 🙌🏽 to you, I pray that the holy spirit help an assist you in true healing and wisdom.

@@Estelle_H I think you're right. I just listened to a word on offence and maybe that's the best way to this- saying no to the spirit of offence. Give nothing the chance to fester.

I have a question Kevin. There is a pain that remain in your heart and forgetting is not easy, how do l deal with the pain when l have confessed and asked for forgiveness? I have forgiven bit tears in my heart is just too much because even in the first place am not wrong, and am taken advantage of? I always forgive and it's not really a problem.except the pain. I feel over persecuted and am like food that people like eating and disrespecting and they know it. Get away with it, and l pain and nothing is done! I cry for justice most times because l forgive .
