Hi Shanna! So glad you and Jayce finally made it to church. He really seemed to enjoy it. I think once you start building community there you will feel more comfortable leaving Jayce in the church’s toddler room. Im sure he will enjoy being able to socialize with other toddlers. Im also pretty sure parents can still check on their kids during the service, they just cant stay the whole time which is totally normal 😊

So glad you’re having these outings with Jayce (church, park, restaurant). The more you do it the better he’ll adjust and the better you’ll feel about it. One step at a time and you’ll both be okay and well adjusted.

Loved seeing you guys in church. I think once u start going out more with jayce he will do better and better. We took our kids everywhere and they eventually adapted and learned how to "act" in public

So I think they trust that they vetted their staff and did background checks on them. However, they can’t trust the parents because they haven’t run checks on them. They probably won’t hurt their own children but you can’t guarantee that they’ll treat your child right. I totally understand both sides.
