I did this first phase quite differently. I bought everything in terms of rural businesses and factories that didn't have a crazy starting price which was pretty much everything on this section of the map apart from the meat factory in Tirupati and the rice business. Resulted in a reasonable income from those businesses and I finished this first phase slightly quicker than you but left me short of cash in the next phase. However, my company value went through the roof shortly thereafter so I could open massive bonds. Looks like at some point the prices to buy existing rural businesses and factories jumped up a lot, but that meant the value of what I already owned jumped up by a similar amount.

I’m struggling to figure out the 140 wagons on one single train line. Does this mean only ‘one’ line? Or do all the stations have to be on the same track?

Anyone know if there's a difference in cost between automatic and freight lines? I don't know if the cost of conductors (for example) are skipped for the freight lines. I ask because Adekyn uses automatic lines here for the freight as well

Good question. I hadn't considered conductors. As Bo says, does anyone know?
