I lived in Adelaide,many years ago ,I was stationed at Edinburgh Field with the RAF ,and ofcourse made many RAAF friends ,great guys the Aussies,had a whale of a time. Lived at Kurata park on the Anzac highway . I remember Rundle St ,and the beaut beaches at the coast ,and that delicious Barossa wine, From a pom that enjoyed Oz in the 60,s

If you like the arts, there is WOMADELAIDE, the 3 day world music festival, The Fringe festival of performing arts, bands, street theatre and the Adelaide Festival, Theatre, Music and dance (A little more sophisticated than the Fringe). Also decriminalised marijuana laws in this state if you are in to that. Peace, Parklands and music. When you live in Adelaide the best thing about travelling is coming home. I love Melbourne, all of the Northern Territory, BrisVegas, Sydney and Tassie too.

What would you say to someone who wants to move there? I hear a lot about the bright side, you know, the side tourists see. But what about actually living there?

It's nice for families. Can't complain growing up here in South Australia. Life is great. Farms need more rain though.

Adeliade is ok but the nicest city is Brisbane watch Brisbane - Australia's New World City on here and you will see why
