If you're wondering, what's there to do Adelaide, South Australia like we were, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that there's lots to do in this 20 minute city! We spend a long weekend in the heart of the city and only touched the surface of all there is in this lovely city.

Hi, Thanks for coming to Adelaide and checking out all the good spots! We've had the Christmas pageant for as long as I remember, maybe even longer. It used to signal the start of when Santa came to the Mall. As for Vegemite, my husband loves it but I loath it. :P Adelaide is a really nice city to visit! Glad you had a good time! :D

You should have travelled on the tram to the beach side suburb of Glenelg and spent the day there. And it is a Football stadium! And how about Adelaide's food halls. You would be hard pressed to find a decent one in Melbourne.

Even though Adelaide is the 20 minute city, there are some lovely things to behold in greater South Australia I hope you one day see. I smiled at "she just asked if I want sauce, I said yes but I didn't know what I was gonna get", it's something so culturally ingrained that I forget about it and when you hear someone else's reaction you're like "so true" 😂

Every Australian cried out in pain when you ate the Vegemite. You need plain bread, lots of butter and that thin Vegemite spread. I tell people new to it 4 parts butter to 1 part Vegemite and then increase to taste.

I'm from Adelaide and just stumbled across this video - thanks for making my city look so fun, it really is beautiful i love living here. I eat Vegemite on toast every morning for breakfast and would never put vegemite on a crossaint that combo would be so gross 😅 definitely if you want to give it another go on toast still hot with plenty of melty butter and a hint of vegemite - its the best!!

Missed the Adelaide Beaches, shame. Only a 25-minute tram ride to Glenelg then could get on a scooter up to Henley or go the other way up to Brighton. They are as good as anywhere in Australia. At least Adelaide has proper beaches close to the city, unlike Melbourne. Ooo, well, next time. Great video..🙂

Hi guys really enjoy your videos. Glad you’re enjoying our great country Australia. With Vegemite it is an acquired taste. Us Aussies are fed it from babies. The best way to have Vegemite is on white toast with lots of butter and a small scraping of Vegemite. The amount of Vegemite i use depends on my mood. The other great way to eat it is on a cheese toasted sandwich.

You guys just popped up, so enjoying your experiences as I've never been to Adelaide but live in Australia. What are you doing though, putting Vegemite on a croissant 😖 that's a big no. It had to be on white bread/toast referrably with a nice lot of butter (not a substitute either) & yes go lightly on the amount of Vegemite. No wonder you didn't like it... totally wrong choice 😮.

Yes, a mention that this was filmed on the land of the Kaurna people, the traditional custodians of the land would have been appropriate. Just FYI to the people filming, it is customary for most large major events to hold an "acknowledgement of country" or ask an Indigenous person to perform "welcome to country." Or for a large building to have a plaque of some kind acknowledging this fact. It's a little on the nose that you discuss the history of Adelaide but leave out the Indigenous people. I don't think this was done intentionally, but just a heads up for any other videos you may film down under. Great video though thank you. I love my city.
