I'm an Aussie and have traveled most of the east coats of Australia. From the tropical north of Queensland to Victoria in the South. Last year I toured South Australia and I loved it. So far, it is the most friendly state I have been to. Adelaide is, quite possibly the easiest city in Australia to navigate. It's more like a big county town than a congested city. South Australia is definitely the state I would revisit in the future....or possibly, move to, permanently. Cheers

You guys have done so good; hit a lot of beautiful places! Excited to see your outback-ish experience! And Adelaide's gorgeous. Ignore other Aussies talking it down, just a part of our culture to shit on each other lol. It's definitely a slower pace and you have to get out of CBD though, which isn't what some tourists are after. But I love it. Relaxed and beautiful, beaches and wineries!

Got anything as spectacular as the great Ocean Road? As good to surf as phillip Island or Torquay? as pristine and wild as Wilsons prom or with the great shopping, nightlife, restaurants and cafe's of Mornington Peninsula or St Kilda? I highly doubt it.
@iggyblitz87394 жыл бұрын
@@wouldlovemyownname Each place has it's best assets, no doubt there are things better in Victoria, and visa versa. Adelaide has better wine country and range if vineyards overall, a more relaxed lifestyle, and yes Melbourne has better nightlife but Adelaide's is getting better, there are many cafes down by our two main city beaches Glenelg and Henley Beach, and many restaurants in Adelaide are great quality. After living in both cities I like the weather better in Adelaide, but Victoria has better mountains and ski fields. If you want to talk islands Kangaroo Island has the most amazing beaches and wildlife.

Oh Yeah, Adelaide Closes for Public Holidays - which in my eyes is great. Families spending time with each other. Not good for the tourist but tourists should do their research before coming here. I dont care if other states are open, we should spend some time with family and friends at the same time and not work and spend money all the time. I also find our state is very expensive to most other states and it never use to be like that. Its quieter to a point. Also, proud of our uniqueness in a lot of things. Great video.
@bluepandavideos5 жыл бұрын
You think Sydney is cheaper than Adelaide? Really? The economy would be better here if things were open later.
@Mav_F5 жыл бұрын
@@bluepandavideos Yes, in a lot of cases it is. Your wages are higher than Adelaide so things a higher in Sydney. However, we have the highest Electricity prices in the world and our water rates and some council rates are the highest in the country. Some Government charges for things are higher than other states. Our petrol prices are higher than Melbourne in most times I visit Melbourne by car. We have a fire levy and no other state has it. My security licence like all states use to be $50 a year and now its nearly $400 I gave it up. Other states are still under $100 per year. Oh, another thing our fruit and vegetables and other foods are more expensive and so is our coffee. That is what a lot of other people say when they visit our state. We have the highest stamp duty in Australia for housing. Prices for tickets are higher than other states in certain events etc and about the same in other events etc. I could go on but I wont. So, Sydney might be higher in a lot of things but Adelaide has gone through the roof ever since Labor came in 17 or so years ago, every year it has gone up beyond the CPI in lots of things. The new Government is trying to reduce things but not sure if its every possible as our state is in so much debt.
@Mav_F5 жыл бұрын
@@bluepandavideos For economy - not true, higher wages rate after hours and people already working long hours and missing out on family life. Making things more expensive to buy in the long run when you are paying higher wages to get it done or made. My last job, I never got to see anyone for the whole 4 years I worked. Split shifts sucked even more and for 6 days per week. I worked, slept and worked.
