It also started with the wind and cell phone issue. Kind of a full circle moment. So beautiful and sad. It's just life sometimes, ya know? Hard situations, hard choices.

Unfortunately, kids are indeed the ones that suffer most in failed relationships of their parents. This song does offer regret to her son that basically she was too young when she had him and was in a relationship where she had to change who she was and stay in a situation where she was unhappy. Basically she knows it hurt the child but to go easy on her as resentment is not good for anyone. It's easier as an adult to relate to mistakes that adults make in their live and that we all make them. To forgive and move on with your life is necessary to heal the hurt. Thanks for sharing your emotions, I hope you find peace.

Very unfortunate circumstances. I try to find peace in my crazy upbringing. Some memories are obviously better than others when I think about it. I do have a bit of resentment in me, I just don't explode with it. Thanks for your comment Michael. Appreciate your words.
