Another great reaction Eddie! Glad you're still at it with this show! Some context for you.... Pearl & Dean is a British cinema advertising company. You used to always hear that theme tune before the adverts played when going to the movies, the one that Neville did the "Ba ba ba ba baa!" bit with in the taxi (pop Pearl & dean intro in to youtube). Merthyr Tydfil is a town in Wales. "I got thrown out of the majorettes for misuse of my baton" - US would see it more at football games, girls throwing the sticks around in the air, we call them batons over here.

Hey Eddie. Agreed, love this episode. You're spot on with Beryl. Great character but not in every episode and that works well because when she is there she's fab! Couple of things. Chortle - Old fashioned word for hearty/big laugh. Linda calls Maddie 'taxi tw*t' when she tells Tom she is in her bed. Some cracking lines in this episode. Really enjoyed your reaction.
