Right. So I was at Glastonbury in 2007. It started to rain so me and my then girlfriend (now wife) ran into a small tent to get a cup of tea and have a smoke. Sitting chilling and then a young singer announces herself and starts singing. Everyone stopped and listened to an absolute star. It was adele and it was amazing.

I was at Glastonbury in 2007. It started to rain as it always does. My future wife and I ran in to the Guardian tea tent to escape the rain. We had a much deserved cup of tea whilst Adele played this to an audience of about 40. She was amazing.

Still after all these years. I come back to this video. I saw it when it first aired on TV. Before this she actually says “Hello I’m Adele and this is a song about my love for London” I learned this song on piano and say that phrase every time I play it to this day.
