unlike many of the other mainstream and pop musicians, i think Adele clearly deserves all the fame and recognition that she gets because of how purely talented she is. many other musicians are just lucky/catchy, but don't really make anything that require skill. she's a gem.

She's gone very high in other songs (Rolling in the Deep is impossibly high), but for some reason I think her keeping it low in the chorus makes it powerful in a different way. Like it literally pulls at my heart, can't quite explain it. But of course, to each his own!
