I bought another Natasha Denona primer last week and when I went to use it yesterday I noticed that towards the bottom there was a weird separation that I had never seen before. It wouldn’t shake out. I’m pretty convinced that the formula has changed. 😩 I definitely think this palette really captures Heathers whole aesthetic

The palette looks very pretty, I have never tried adept but I have heard the same thing about shipping and some not-so-great things about customer service but Covid was difficult for everyone so I’m going to give it a shot anyway and get this palette when it releases

I have heard bad things about their customer service as well. Ibhave ordered three times from them and each time my pallette came waaaay before the stated date. Typically if somwthing us a preorder they give themselves a lot if cushion time in the date they provide you with in shipping to avoid disappintment in things being late. The great thing is they never seem to need that extra time so the pallette comes extra early. The packaging is also really protecting. The first time I ordered two shadows in the pallette came broken, I emailed them, they immediatly refunded me the cost of those two shades and mailed me new ones as soon as they had some in stock.

If you exclude the 4 colours on the green side, it looks like the ABH Amrezy palette! Of course this one is more elevated since it has shifty/duochrome shimmers but just thought it was interesting to see if anyone else sees it. I saw the thumbnail and was like oh Angie is bringing Amrezy out!

I’ve actually gotten pretty good at figuring out brushes based on shape and color because you forget. 😂 It’s a surprisingly useful skill, but I’d definitely be up for a full “Angie suggests you buy these brushes” review. I’ve gotten to the point where I think I need to do a major brush/tools overall to continue leveling up my general makeup skills- mostly because until some very recent purchases, I’ve been using Wet n Wild and whatever that cheap natural bamboo brand is, with the occasional Urban Decay ringer brush. 😂😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I highly recommend Rephr brushes, which are made in Japan. I know Angie uses them and lots of others, including Mel. They are natural hair bristles I believe but they are SO soft and blend beautifully. Personal favorites are the #s, 01,02,16,and 14 or you can just buy the brush sets they have in the concept store and it saves you a decent amount off. I only have tried their eye brushes and can’t speak to the face brushes but I’m sure they’re great!
