You need to put your email in, for their restocks, on the Adept site. This is an indie brand and sometimes you have to wait, but, these shadows are worth it, when you consider that Clionadh shades are 25$ each, and you also have to wait for those.

Completely agree with your ranking. Did not buy the Koddane for the reasons you said. It’s not cohesive at all. Just bought the Heather Austin pallet. Love the Subculture vibes in the mattes. Have all the other pallets as well. So happy for Heather, and she did an amazing job, but both you and Milly are my multichrome experts and are both overdue for a collab with those types of shades.

How long did it take for you to recieve your order? I'm hesitant to buy from indie brands because the shipping is known to be slow. I will NOT wait weeks for something I've paid for. I can order from Sephora or Ulta and have my stuff within 3 days. I don't play around with my hard earned money.

@@Glamma_Karen You do not understand how special these shimmers are. These are like some of the best Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath shimmers for 1/2 the price. You will be disappointed in the shimmers you already have. Definitely worth the wait. Compared to mainstream brands, indie brands are killing it. I now use Adept shimmers to add pizzazz to my regular shimmers as a toppers, because they are that good. Cameras do not do them justice. You are missing out.

I would love to try one of Adepts palettes one day, I like that they made the pans smaller. I am just waiting for a color story I like and dont have yet :D I do have some shimmer singles and love them tho. Thank you for your thoughts on their formula! I love their new packaging as well from the outside.

Please remember this brand recently told a blind person to “shop somewhere else”. they have never personally reached out to the customer to apologize. They posted an apology that didn’t explain the situation and then deleted the apology after about a week. they did change some accessibility features that should have been there to begin with on their site after they could no longer just delete comments about the situation.

I have the plain Jane anniversary edition and the ninhydrin. Im gonna be buying heathers palette when I get paid Friday as a birthday gift to myself. She’s a favorite of mine to watch and I’m an RT, I need the palette for the PAO2 and scrubs names alone lol!

I'm impatiently waiting for my Heather Austin palette. Unfortunately when I found out about it, it was already a pre order, but I was able to order and it should come in May. I can't wait seriously. I've really slowed down on my make-up purchases so it makes it that more exciting to get a new palette.

I have big dips in my Plain Jane palette too, the biggest being in ACI11 too. I really enjoy the formula of the shimmers and am only missing a few palettes that I am hoping to add to my collection eventually. I was lucky enough to snag the new Heather Austin palette and I almost couldn't believe I actually managed to do so! Great video, I appreciate your honesty with things and the swatches!

I wish Adept wouldn't discontinue their palettes the way they do. it's a turn off for the brand. I do have Plain Jane Remastered and Heather's palette coming in, so I am excited. I really hate I missed out on Kodanne.

I agree. it definitely is a turn off for the brand, and i feel like it makes people that are more impulsive, feel the need to buy their new palettes. and then theres people like me who prefer to feel it out, wait it out and research alot first, make sure whats in my collection isnt basically the same, or maybe you eventually find out that you only see a palette as being so special because of only a handful or one or two shades 😎 ✨ 🤔

I am SO freaking excited to have Heather Austin x Adept palette 🥰🥲 I feel so blessed to have been able to pick up the collabs of my favorite people. between last year & this year I had absolutely No money, and having a child, he comes first ykno? I honestly just barely believe these collabs came at just the right times. Makeup is something really special for me, I've never had a passion like this before. Thank you for this video Amy 💟 I wanted that single shade from Touch of Glam-Iconic. because its just like the multichrome from Annette's palette the Giant Wolves palette I missed! so seeing the shade from Heather's palette compared to iconic on Milly's video, I was about to cry lol 😂 the greens and purples man they get me every time!

You are the swatch queen ♡ It's crazy because you are always talking about this brand and nobody else that I watch is but with this new Heather Austin apparently they all received it in PR or something because I've been seeing videos left And right and none of them had even heard of adept. I said oh wow well you are in for a treat because this one channel (yours) is always talking about them. I am SO ridiculous with my multichromes. I cannot swatch them (I know it's your job) I would feel like I'm wasting them. I don't have many. I think I want the plain Jane remastered. It says most of them are the same as the 1st palette. I just had a palette from AngelsSaintsSinners.. I love it.. the Zodiac palette ♡

This was excellent! I ordered the Heather Austin palette which I’m so excited about! I really want the Amunet Nu in the light palette now. I hope they restock it again since I regret not getting it lol.

I'm not physically disabled, but I can acknowledge the way Adept treated a member of the disability community was terrible. I haven't heard other disabled people mention giving them another chance, so this company is staying out of my life. I don't believe that they'd have done a single thing to change if they weren't publicly called out. Reeks of ableism. Like another commenter said, I will take my disabled dollars elsewhere. :) Bye bye Adept!

Vivi L, thank you so much. I have multiple sclerosis and struggle with optic neuritis, which affects my vision at times. It's also painful and a royal pain in the derriere! I was stunned at the way Adept behaved. They should be ashamed, and it saddens me that so many people don't see anything wrong with their abysmal behavior. I've really cut down on my support for the Influencers who still work with them. It's really disappointing that not more Influencers chose to take the high road, but maybe some of them don't know what happened? I'm sure many of them would have a hard time turning away free makeup- which I understand. We are all human, reviewing makeup is what they do for a living. Anyway, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for speaking up. I truly appreciate it. You represent the best of humanity.

@@Bluelilly40 honestly I wouldn't mind if they took the PR, but also mentioned what happened as a preface to whether or not people would want to shop at the brand. It's not their apology to accept, but if they truly believe the owner has grown as a person, they're free to mention that. I haven't seen a single YTer I watch who still uses Adept mention anything about what they did. Shame on them, that's sneaky and not representative. It's ridiculous that blind and other visually impaired disabled people are being ignored - I don't know a single person who can see who would trade anything for being blind. I have awful vision and it's the bane of my existence, but at least glasses and contacts work. I wouldn't have been surprised if the customer had a more invisible disability that required accomodations - I am autistic + ADHD and people treat me like I'm lying all the time. But everyone knows what blindness is and there are legal accomodations in place for primarily online businesses, so their response was flabbergasting.

Omg. ....I was about to buy an adept palette (would have been my first one) but then I saw this comment...which made me Google it up..WOW...I'm not disabled but the way the owner responded to that person was just awful...even if there is no disability involved , they should not have treated them in that manner. Will NOT be buying anything from adept

There are already so many other brands who make beautiful duochromes and multichromes, so why support this brand? (Their response to disabled customers was so gross)

They apologized, made their website accesible, and hired customer service to do better in the future. I fully acknowledge that they were wrong, but they did their best to grow after the fact.
