I like the mystery box, but I was hoping for more variety with the products. I was thinking it would include a new face palette and maybe some lip products. Overall I still like the the products. I’m surprised she did a matte heavy palette but I realized it’s a good companion piece with Minka. I can’t wait to see reviews on the inspired/ nameless palette. It looks so beautiful.

Yes I definitely didn’t think 8 liners but that’s the gamble with a mystery box I suppose. I love this new layout and yes it’ll be so fun to get the arrow palette because of all the colors 😍😍😍

I liked that they were up front in saying that the product that was in the mystery box was new and would be available for separate purchase later in the year. I just won't make a big purchase like that not knowing what is in the box but I also don't have FOMO because it would be avail again if I wanted it. I really appreciated that approach.

Love your look! First I thought it was really strange that Adept revealed the mystery box before most people received it. I also wish they didn’t sneak peak the most exciting row of the palette. I ended up canceling my mystery box because I was just underwhelmed and I feel like I have most of these mattes in the UC Warms My Blood palette. I also don’t want all those liners. TFS❤

The liners are named with reference to Star Trek-one of the later shows like maybe Deep Space 9 or another one. They are stunning. I got my box today and will play with it tomorrow.

The liner names are Star Trek the Next Generation and Star Trek Deep Space 9 references. I love that, especially the DS9 names. Although I don't understand why the palette's name and shadows are all Los Angeles references. I do wish the Mystery Box had more variety instead of 8 liners. This is the first ever mystery box I ordered in my life. And I'm a bit disappointed it has no face products. I wish Adept would ship out my order! I ordered the Inspired palette and the Mystery Box the afternoon of January 18th. That was 3 weeks ago and my order still haven't shipped yet. Seems odd that some people already have their order. Meanwhile Adept still hasn't shipped out orders placed on the glitch date, which was 2 days early. It feels like it was bingo shipping this time around. Love the look you created :)

I also placed an order for the inspired palette and the minka palette and they haven't shipped those yet. I wish they would. I'm way more excited for those than for my mystery box that will be here tomorrow 🫤

@@jossalyn5632 I'm glad at least part of your order is on its way. I ordered Inspired, Minka, and the Mystery box. I placed my order at noon on January 18th. Adept hasn't shipped any of my items. And they haven't sent me any updates. The order confirmation email said orders would start shipping on January 25, and might take as long as 2 to 10 business days to ship. It's been more than 10 business days now. The last time I ordered from them I ordered 3 palettes, including a new release. And they shipped it out in a timely way. Between 8 liners in the Mystery box, and 3 weeks and counting waiting for my order to ship, this experience is already hugely disappointing.

I don't hardly wear green shades which is most of this palette, so I KNOW I won't wear it. But I also think I "NEED" it so I can say I have all their palettes 🤷‍♀️

I have green eyes and I love wearing green shadows - it was the first colorful eyeshadow I got into - so I had to get the 🏹 Inspired. It arrived the other day and it really is gorgeous! If you are inclined to use it, of course. It wouldn’t be worth it if you don’t wear those colors though. I’m also really excited about the Minka, which came in recently too. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s soooo pretty!

Basically all the names of the shades of shadows are in Los Angeles county, I'm a resident of Long Beach which is the name of one of the Melts bronzer's. PCH is aka Pacific Coast Highway it's runs for many miles. Thanks for the swatches I enjoy swatching videos🧐🤩😍

I truly love a good live swatch!! I wanted the mystery box but wasn't able to get because they were sold out before pay day. Adept is my favorite brand, I have everything from the brand. I really really love everything in box. Hoping it's launching sooner rather than later. I am just as excited for the mattes in this palette this time. Like PA02 in the Heather Austin palette is one of my most used and loved matte in my whole collection. I will reach for that palette just for that matte so much.

I really wish there was a platform where people could notify their subscribers when a mystery box becomes available so that they could have a chance at picking one up it's very hard to watch a mystery Box onboxing when you didn't even know it was available and you would have loved to have grabbed 1. I have looked Everywhere for somebody that lets people know when all the mystery boxes are available and I have not found any. You are super pretty though. You should sign up for P.louise Budget Box it's a monthly makeup mystery box and it's seriously amazing. Their packaging and quality is unbeatable. Multichromes and duochromes are my favorite thing ever this makes me want to cry 😢

I think the palette is really pretty but I never use liquid liners so I'm not sure how much use I will get out of them. If i would have known that it was 7 eyeliners I wouldn't have bought it but I'm still glad that I have it.

I received mine today as well and I have to say the liners are truly beautiful, and really easy to use when doing a graphic liner. The palette is also pretty but there are a few mattes that are very similar to each other and truly weren’t needed and I wish there were a couple more shimmers rather than the three whitish beige shades.

Yes that’s the hard part about eyeshadow palettes… we always want to tweak things for our preferences ☺️☺️ do you have any other adept palettes. I think you can remove the pans and make something extra sparkly. I personally like to just leave my palettes the way they are ♥️

I mean it was a mystery box for me too 🤣 I have so many liners like this I dunno what being a content creator has to do with it… but you could just use these all over your lids too or gift some to friends. We can find some creative uses for it but that’s the fun of a mystery box imo ♥️

I was super disappointed like I get I can gift it but who buys something wanting to gift the majority of it. It was more of a eyeliner bundle than a mystery box with new products. Imo

I love adept but those liners don't look that special (seen these before from other indie brands) and that palette is a letdown...so boring looking....just my opinion as a normal makeup consumer. This has however taught me to not to dabble with mystery boxes and be more mindful of my purchases

6:10 so back story is that the owner of Adept used to live in Cali and would drive through those streets to work or hang out in those areas. It’s an homage because she misses living here. I got the palette because I’m from Cali and live and work by these areas. Lol I know it’s dumb but couldn’t help myself. I wish she put a blush or something in there instead of 9 eyeliners. Oh well,I guess that saves me $ on eyeliners for a couple of years. 😂

I like the products in the mystery box but was definitively disappointed. 8 eyeliners was not what I was expecting. I also feel catfished by the photos they released, Adept is known for their shimmer and the sneak peeks of the palette only showed the shimmer row leading you to believe there were more not shown. Imagine my surprise when I open the palette and it’s a bunch of mattes. 😥 It’s pretty but I would have got the Arrow palette instead had I known.

I prefer live swatches. Especially if I’m trying to decide if I want to get it or not. It’s much more helpful. I didn’t get this and glad I didn’t. Everything is pretty but too neutral, too many mattes and too many eyeliners LoL I did get the other palette that launched and excited to get it soon.

@Karen Harris Well that does make me feel a little bit better that I missed out on it because I really don't care for the palette. It's too neutral for me and I do love a lot of the Eyeliners I would have been so incredibly happy to get them. I received a lucky bag this year so maybe I can see if somebody would trade me because I know some people do not use eyeliners like that. I would love some but not that price. That's actually why I did not pick up the unearthly cosmetics mystery box. I did have the chance to get that but it was so expensive and you were not getting a good value at all

The palette is really nice, but all those eyeliners makes me glad I didn't buy the mystery box. The original Plain Jane, shimmers last on my eyes, the new formula does not. I haven't bought anything from adept since, and I don't know how I truly feel about their matte shade formula.
