Adept Vivette Swatch Party + Black Friday Sale Recommendations

Amy, I appreciate the great video. I agree with your recommendations. I have them and love sumarian sunset and flying fiddles too. Those and YOUR palette are my favorites. However, I don't like the mattes in this new Vivette palette. I think the red and blue tell me they were going for a French vibe, but then what's with that green and lavender? Their shimmers are always good but I can't buy a palette if I don't like half the palette. It's a good thing though because I kinda went a bit crazy between the black friday sales at Clionah, Ensley Reigns and Terra Moons (and Rephre brushes). I'm not allowed to watch KZbin for a while I think.

Grabbed it, just cuz we are at the collector point lol. I see it as duos. Vertically speaking, those mattes pair with those shimmers beautifully as more simple light handed matte in crease and beautiful shimmer on lid. Ive used ink to darken just a tad when needed. Overall, it is a slightly unusual palette, but that is why I like Adept as well. Appreciate the less squishy textures as well, no creasing.

I think I’m getting to a sort of semi saturated collection point. Looking at this new palette ? Meh . I can dupe the look . I have La Cianega, Minka,Seahorse, Amunet Nu deep and Amunet light, Flying Fiddles and Element 115 and Cyborg Choir. That covers mmm.. what 90%? Well for the coral - Menagerie squid palette also for some of that palest khaki green either a Menagerie or BB Earthy 42. The bright green I can find either in Earthy42 or in Ace Beaute Oceanic or a PIMBY or Kara beauty palette. Or maybe one of the BH festival palettes( just used the weekend festival the other day and it may be a bit powdery , but it’s still quite pigmented and turned out a lovely look).

This is literally one of the worst color stories I've even seen, and exactly why I haven't made up my mind on even trying Adept yet. No offense to anyone of course, but I'm THAT picky. Minka is still on my mind, but I hate that there's only two mattes in that. Don't get me started on Nomad and Clionadh palettes 😅
