To clarify, this jab can apply to Both parties: Pres Trump took control of the presidency fairly handily, despite numerous scandals, and yet proved extremely incompetent once in the job. Meanwhile, the Democrats have been accused of stealing the presidency from a rightful second Trump term, and yet they managed to lose control of the legislature while doing so. EDIT because i clearly botched the delivery: -Trump was accused of usurping the presidency from the democratic process; he was not good at his campaigning (scandals, plus losing the popular vote) or his job as president. -Democrats were accused of usurping the election process by "stealing votes; they did a terrible job of stealing the Senate/House in the process (ie they lost their majorities).

At first I thought them fielding a force of only a few million combat personal was severely crippling to their abilities. However I never considered the non-militant branches which provide services to the Imperium in even more desperate need then soldiery. I discounted them as one would clerks of the administratum, the gears that keep the soldiers going. However in an Imperium so rife with large scale problems, these less prominent duties will have an arguably far larger scale effect then another strike team of sisters. A squad can win a battle, a healing saint a war, a piece of well found intel could stop the problem before either is needed.
