First thing I did when my kit came was take one of the bodies, cut it in half and meld it with a standard skitarii body to make a unique alpha. Now I'm using the pistols from the sulphurhounds to accent my skitarii forces. I've only built one raider properly and intend to use a genestealer cult torso to replace the one I cut up.

I really wanted to make the phosperhounds but I made the raiders only because their the only models that have all their stats anywhere. I still love them though so I guess I cant complain

Hot take: The raiders are cooler.Though I must say I'm not really convinced by this new art direction for the admech. I far prefer ForgeWorld's take on them.

considering the 3 are about 44 points, they are probably some of the worst value in terms of points per £/$/E. However i love the models =D

How configurable are they? are they basically monopose or do they have lots of different options?

they are monopose, with options for the two units. the riders themselves have a decent array of heads, weapons, equipment etc

the riders dont fit on different hounds but they are built like the skitarii so its very easy to mix and match arm/weapons and heads to achieve the same goal

GW thinks enough people do or they wouldn't include them. Also not everyone plays matched play and some like to build their models based on how good the weapons are. EDIT: some of the kits data sheets include all of their points.
