Yay for wanton destruction of the megarobo variety, that midgame cascade of blowing everything up was awesome :D Besides E&D being a bit wonky above 1500 points, it's a bit disheartening to see lots of rules sloppiness that usually ends up affecting your opponents' game (when they are pretty clearly mainly goofing around having a blast), like these: - Titan weapons fire sequently, no rolling eight dice at once for two Sunfuries. - The madness gives one dice and +2 Str to the shot, Mellow Yellow fired less than it should've. - How are you transfering hits to reactors? There's no rule for taking failed saves as heat, the optional transfer rule allows one to declare they are taking power from the shields when pushing but not the other way round. - Knife Fighters is a bit vague if it refers to the target's scale or the attacker's, but given that the maniple rule example talks about Warlords who normally cannot be in the maniple, it is pretty safe to infer that the intent is to refer to the target's scale. Thus those Hounds would've gotten their bonus. - You cannot boost voluntarily when the reactor is at red, that requires extra abilities. - At the end, your Mori cannon rolled a 3 and would have missed. It has a -1 to hit under 24". That aside, if you feel the game needs variation in the studio, why not try some of the narrative missions out for our viewing pleasure? There's lots of great oddball stuff in the books to go with, like the Second Battle of the Nyrcon City or the Wreck of Arutan. Or try some trickier lists out, like melee-heavy Reaver rushes, all-doggo Lupercals, knight households (without Acastus spam, blergh) and what not. Even branching out of the tried and tested Astorum rules might spice your life a bit ;) Keep up the good work!

Yeah seems a bit brazen to talk about a game system getting stale when you only play one Legio with about 2000 points worth of models to choose from (and the same weapons choices), and the same Maniple. There's a lot more of the game than that, and you can even make your own custom Legio if you feel so inclined.

You forgot(again!)) to check reactor overlord before repairing phase,so, your warlord with reactor in red hole will be definetly destroyed before it can repair!

It's not a rule at all. I don't know how someone could think it was. You can take Void Shields instead of Plasma during a push, but there is absolutely no way you can take Plasma for Shield saves. It doesn't make any sense.

Noob question, sorry (also not native speaker so might have missed it) - why can you choose to take reactor damage instead of loosing shields? Is that an Astorum thing or have I missed a base rule?

About 1:21:30ish your man playing Interfector asks if his Warhound is within your Warlord's carapace weapon arc (you cut him off saying 'scale')... Could be the camera angle, but it looks like the red 'hound was quite a bit out of the fixed corridor arc of those laser blasters. Also, how are you guys taking damage to voids as reactor heat throughout the game?

Good to see more Adeptus Titanicus back on the Channel. Just a couple of things and I do understand that you Ash play a lot of different games. 19:35 then the first Charge was not correct. In the Movement phase, a unit acting under Charge orders can only move within it's front arc, and once it starts moving, it cannot make any turns. 14:03 & 25:34 Which rule was used when saves were failed? i.e Taking 1 off the void shields & the other to the reactor. Good game mate.

Does seem like the other "do things other than blow stuff up" objectives should be worth a LOT more points, relatively speaking. Killing the enemy is its own reward, it shouldn't also be such a solid route to victory.

I am late to the party but something didnt seem right when seeing the armies. Ash, you have 205 points more than him! I know you get stratagems for having a difference (not sure if he did get them) but basically 200 points buys you another Titan so its pretty big difference...

It's not a thing. Someone misread the Power Transfer rules and somehow thought it went the other way... which would be broken.

I love watching titanicus vids but there were some mistakes in this vid hat made it hard to watch. Mostly legion infector forgetting to do two hits with the melta Cannon multiple times and for getti g that melta Cannon is plus one dice when you roll on the crazy table

Okay, so this was pretty hard to watch in general, a lot of mistaken rules and just randomly made up rules (plasma can't soak shield saves), but the cake really gets taken at 36:00. 10, 14, 15, 16. I know that it had been a while since you played this system, but how in the good heavens is a Str 8 weapon meant to hit for 16? It was 10, 12, 13, 14, which is 5 damage, not triple crits, obviously not enough to kill a Reaver. I don't really need to watch further than that to know which way the game's going to go, and honestly, it's pretty frustrating. I really enjoy this channel and this game, but it is so hard to watch the rules get bungled so badly, and so consistently. Maybe in future, you can have a third person operating the camera/keeping an eye on the rules, especially when a lot of the rules violations seem to benefit the *ahem* filming side...
