I imagine how hurt Adesanya's ego must be that despite having managed to win one of the 4 fights against Poatan, he was undefeated at middleweight after he lost to Poatan, he lost his champion aura and lost to Strickland in the sequence... Then you see Alex moving up a category and becoming a double champion in 2 years, beating so many former champions, winning the favor of the UFC and the public becoming perhaps the main face of the UFC... while Adesanya himself ends up taking a backseat... that must be hurt him that's why he always bets against Poatan in the hope of him losing.. I think if Adesanya loses this fight against Dricus he might end up retiring at least for a while..
