Why didn't the host ask the guest if he found subsidy in the 2024 budget when he and his fellow Nigeria economists were jumping all over television saying subsidy was still being paid? Creating unnecessary tension with their miseducation. Rather than just apologise to the public to have integrity, he's now going around saying it's now in the 2025 budget that subsidy is now just being removed, first time. He can't help himself. Did you and the other Nigeria economists who were saying subsidy was being paid in 2024 see it in the 2024 budget before you all started misleading the public? That's the question they need to be held accountable for, rather than all these trying to be clever by half. Economics is not make it up as you go along, Mr Economist.
