I was fortunate to see Chicago shortly after their 1st album was released--What a Show!!--Opened for Jimi Hendrix at Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston. During this tour, Hendrix developed a deep respect for Terry Kath, Chicago lead guitarist.

The chord changes. The horns, rockin guitar, driving piano and excellent vocals. Another Chicago gem picked by PNCombies. Yes, the mid section is just freaking killer. Harri, the cops arrested them directly after recording this. 😃👍✌🤟

This is one of their sixties songs, released in 1969, their first single.

Written by the band's pianist Robert Lamm, it's about a relationship he was in in 1967 and 1968, about which he had many questions (at least 67 or 68 of them). Apparently the answers he received weren't the correct ones since they broke up shortly after this song was recorded. This is the Chicago that remains the best part of their musical legacy...before Terry Kath's demise and their slide toward pop balladry. Thanks Neal and Harri.

I so totally agree about the band being the ultimate while Terry was still alive. I think there are only a couple of songs I really love from the ballad years. I think Robert Lamm was a fabulous song writer.

Great choice Neal my friend. Peter Cetera, Robert Lamm, and the Greatest Guitarest not many people know the late great Terry Kath, and the rest of the group. A fantastic song right up there with 25 or 6 to 4. Thenks Neal and of course Prince Harri. 😊

Nothing like the original, Harri. I knew you would dig your boy Cetera's vocals and bass playing. I remember the exact moment I heard this classic from Chicago. I was playing basketball one night with a new friend after my family had moved to Texas. I was in 8th grade and I had just turned fourteen. I will never forget that magic night getting turned onto this Chicago classic. Loved your reaction -- thank you!

I played football all four years in high school. Our high school "Sweepstakes" band at Round Rock High - just north of Austin - would amaze me when they would nail contemporary standards that we would hear on the radio all the time. I can only imagine how good your band sounded playing Questions 67 Or 68 with a horn section a high school band brings on the field. Cool to hear how this gem has grown on you!

From the 1970 album, Chicago ll, this is a beautiful hard driving rock anthem written by Robert Lamm. Three of the founding members, Jimmy Pankow..trombone, Walt Parazaider.. tenor sax and Lee Loughnane... tenor sax, absolutely showcase their abilities with an absolute stellar performance. Terry Kath shreds the heck out of this tune, with Peter Cetera's vocals, magic, even with his broken jaw wired shut, adding a bass line to be admired. Originally calling themselves Chicago Transit Authority, until the Transit Authority objected, Chicago's library of tunes continues to be some of the greatest music ever produced. 🎺🎺🎷🎷🎶🎶 Great reaction Handsome Harri ❤❤ Great choice Neal. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦

I remember the first time I heard Chicago. It was the same album this song was on. Someone in the dorm was playing it and I followed the sound to ask who the group was. I was an immediate fan, and I bought every album they put out until they started putting out the Pop stuff. Much of that was OK, but their early stuff just had something special about it.
