Waiting for the Sun came out in 1968 and was The Doors 3rd studio album. It was their only Number 1 album remaining there for 4 weeks. It also produced their 2nd Number1 single, "HelloI I Love You". It was a difficult album to produce, due to lack of material and Jim's increasing alcoholism. Drummer John Densmore walked out of the session due to Jim's condition. Each song took at least 20 takes. This song is a great Doors tune. Jim's vocals are beautiful and the organ persistently keeping the rhythm along with a great melody. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Scott. Great tune.
