It's likely he had e-mail but not an actual website, as in 1992 I believe only a few universities had ones for testing purposes.

I'm working on a game that is actually very similar in many ways to this game. I've never seen a game like it before, and I'm super happy to see this game because it can give me a lot of ideas for my game! Also noticed that this is Star Mines 2, does that mean there is another game before this one?

Looks like a fun game, thanks for highlighting it. Now downloaded both SM2 and SM1, described as 'like Omega Race'.

+MarkTheMorose This is one of the concepts that gave me ideas for the game we are working on now: Critical Domain.

Loved that game back then. It had everything a good game needs.. but i only played the shareware-version of it. Have to play it again some time.

This looks just like an MS-DOS game we used to play back in the 90s, but I can't remember if it was this or something else...

+Cyberbrickmaster1986 The graphics are kinda similar to TechnoVenture, which I have indeed covered on ADG: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ammXnH2wg66Gfqs

I love the emergent bug of the emulator and game tricking each other into running at the wrong speed in a weird feedback loop.

Loved that game back then. Didn't know there was a brake-button. 30minutes of training and you don't need any brake-button. If you played it with the brake button I might see you as a cheater :)

If you hold down the C, H, E, A, T keyboard keys at the same time it skips to the next level!

let's see, 16 turn frames, 1 per frame tick, 20 ticks per second. 16/20 -> 8/10 -> 4/5ths of a second.

The first one is barely much of anything and almost plays nothing like this one. :B

So ummm... was there ever a Starmines 1?
@Pixelmusement Жыл бұрын
Yes, and I have tried it... It's incredibly basic; Too basic to talk about for more than a minute. :P
