AdGuard Home on Windows 11 - Install FAST

I'll be installing Adguard Home on Windows 11 and going over some common settings. Adguard Home is used for ad blocking, privacy protection, and online security. It is free, easy to use, and ca be installed natively on Windows.

Hi, Thank you - I installed and works perfectly until I add my paid VPN WireGuard settings on the router (connected no internet) but I can use the VPN app for now till I figure it out.

Great video! If I take that IP address and add it as my routers DNS will all devices be filtered through adguard home as long as I have that device turned on? edit: or do I have to change each devices dns?

Correct, assuming that all your devices are using your router's DNS then yes you just need to change it on your router.

@@KMDTech I've gotten the IP address of the Mac Mini where i've installed AGH and I've set it as my DNS server address on my router but all my devices are still seeing the old router IP address and not this one

If I'm not mistaken, you installed it on your router. Is there any way to install it directly on computer?

It was installed directly on the computer.

I'm getting so frustrated with this. Its been weeks of trying this and nothing works. I can't even start these tutorials without things just not working instantly. I get adguard home is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file. I think I got it to install like 2 weeks ago but it wasn't in admin permissons and im just sol ever since. Can't uninstall it ether. Its just so confusing when you hit roadblocks ever step of the way and can't learn anything when everything is wrong.

IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM ....ITS NOT USER FRIENDLY AND A REAL PAIN WHEN I WRITE THEM IT DOESNT HELP AND I GO IN CIRCLES ..NOW ITS BEEN WAY OVER 24 HOURS SINCE I ASKED FOR HELP ... TYPICAL FOR THE UK..
