ADHD and Tips for interaction- Training Session

Identifying the reasons for incorrect/ non responsiveness is very important. Dealing/ focusing those reasons tactfully helps in progress of child.
Pairing is the basic step for achieving goals.

It is a repetitive behaviour and can be exhibited by any child on spectrum...ADD, ADHD, ASD etc. All the children doesn't have it some may display it.

how many times to sit with kid to take his session in a day this is mother of a child asking in this side .actually I used to teach him whole day he gets irritated. what do I do.

Richa Jain Conducting session throughout the day is neither possible nor advisable. I always suggest/ recommend to focus basic weaknesses; attention, processing, repetitiveness, hyperactivity etc. This can be done in structured one to one setting session (30-60mins) maintaining pairing, getting responses and managing behaviours in this time span are very important otherwise the child gets irritated and doesn’t learn positively. Such sessions may be twice or thrice a day. In rest timings of day his weaknesses must be focused for 5-15 minutes after every 1-2 hours, so that the child gets more time for practicing his weak areas which I am focusing in my interaction. Gradually the child starts repeating what he practices in structured sessions. There should be a team of family members to contribute these one to one setting sessions ... this distributes the burden and generalises as well. I trust this helps in structuring his day.
