Write things down on your phone or use post-its or voice memos. Try to avoid relying on your working memory: it may increase your anxiety or stress.

I am embarrassed by the state of my room because I start things and decide to finish it later when I am popped. But then I don't want to(forget about ), go back to it.

Hi Ernie. Help yourself clean your room by starting with making a list of what you want to do. Then do one thing per day so you can start to feel progress. If you can, do two things. Keep your list simple. If you can start and finish in one brief time period, no longer than 30 mins. Good luck!

How much of getting on with a job has to do with our perfectionism and our desire to do the whole job in one sitting? well that got answered LOL Sounds like want and need reassurance from myself. I am terrible about habits and routines. A habit to eat chocolate is easier to achieve than to do my physical therapy
