It was just a few years ago when I heard my inner voice for the first time. I meditated everyday and I was brushing my teeth one night, and I heard myself thinking. I was chocked and joyful 😆 I guess the meditation helped me to clear my clouded mind. I need to get back to it. It's one thing to have ADHD but also live in this modern world with all the info and distraction coming at you. It's too much.

Great reaction. I have a unique perspective. I wasn’t diagnosed until 2010 when I was 16. I grew up in a very conservative area. I basically was treated as dumb. I knew I wasn’t but I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I get put on Ritalin, I absolutely hated it. I did well in school, but I hated that it made me feel like I wasn’t myself. Now my new medication, I get all the benefits of Ritalin and I’m not a zombie, it really helps me. The amount of times that something doesn’t come out right I can’t even count. Or I say something and then I have explain myself. Or I just get a look where I have seven heads

On the other side of that thought of doctors just trying to push pills, my mother was told of my struggles in school and inability to pay attention and it was suggested I may need ADHD meds. She ignored it, but now decades later I’ve finally been properly diagnosed and the medication I’m on actually helps me feel normal. I’m sure it’s been misdiagnosed many times before, just here to say it really helps me. Much love, thank you for the video. 🖤
