Years ago they had videos of devotees bowing down to Adi Da. I remember one video that has never left me. Rows of devotees kneeling in a line for Adi Da to inspect. Da walking along the line looking through each devotee. The devotees are crying and some screaming. The actions of the devotees reminded of the brainwashed Beatles fans during their concerts where girls will scream and shake their heads. It was a wierd video. Most of the wierdo videos have been removed.

We do not know if Ken Wilber knew that followers of ADI DA had to sign a contract that basically said "I GIVE MY LIFE TO ADI DAD " for eternity plus many money demands from the cult ....I think that Ken Wilber was very uniform and ignorant of what did happen in the ADU DAD CULT !

Henri, I deleted my comment as I am not really sure how I feel about Adi Da. I had an obe experience in 2015 that I have denied had anything to do with Adi Da, but in reality there was a witness with me, who insisted it was Adi DA’s transmission. I denied that, but here I am 9 years later feeling it could very well have been. I’m in a conundrum rn. I realise there’s quite a bit of negativity around Adidam. Some of it is likely justified. I’m truly sorry you suffered so much sorrow and loss re the event of losing your wife.

I experienced his Spirit Baptism in a dream, which is basically union with the guru, the crashing down of his shakti. I never joined Adidam because I have nothing to offer them. I understand your conundrum, but I think you are safe joining up with them. The crazy things basically happened in the beginning of his teaching ministry.

@@Jaime-k6r4j thank you. I’m v happy about your Spirit Baptism in a dream!! Wonderful. Since I made that comment things are full throttle different for me with my now renewed relationship with Adi Da! I wasn’t ready back when I first was involved in 2013. But without a doubt Beloved did give me a transmission in 2015 that was His Samadhi state. I left my Murti with a devotee friend and now I have it back, but I don’t plan on being involved with Adidam as a formal devotee again. I personally don’t feel it’s necessary.. but it is each person’s individual choice. The 3C course I took in 2014 was excellent. I still remember much of it… how to Turn to Him especially. To understand more what was going on in those early years, there’s a book by a long time devotee, Meg Fortune McDonnell, titled Tasting the Moon. It cleared my head of all doubts. Same with interviews on yt channel Beezone with Meg and also interviews with Julie Anderson on Beezone (Ed Reither.) No more controversy for me. My heart recognition of Bhagavan has always been there.

@MariaElena51185 That is wonderful! The connection to Adi Da's grace is a beautiful experience. I recently purchased his main teaching works (the Aletheon, Gnosticon and Pnuemenon). His written word is helpful in the practice of Ruchira Avatara Bhakti Yoga. I wish you the best!
