I’m ashamed to mention this but I have to offences for criminal damage and assault sound worse then what is it is, basically is was a fight and about one hundred pound criminal damage in 1979, when I was younger misguided youth, both were fines and suspended sentences, I’ve kept my nose clean since though. The last offence was thirty nine years ago and the other, six year before that, I’m sixty four now, so before I get involved and enthused, will these offences affect my chances of becoming an ADI ? @@MeltemOzdincer-o3e I’d recommend getting lots of driving experience on a variety of different roads (town/city/urban/rural). You need to become a confident and experienced driver before attempting to become a driving instructor 🚙

Extremely helpful, I hope your channel will grow as it is probably the best I've encountered so far. I used to help with racing techniques 30 years ago in the Porsche Club GB and I was considering having a part-time occupation as a driver instructor so I shall definitely look into it following all your good advice. I'm exploring the Idea of becoming an instructor am 57 and not working semir retired an interested in a new career. So let me get this straight the fees that schools advertise for are just for the training for Part 1 ? Looking at a school local to me they advertise for £1499 and of course the franchise futher down the line etc etc,

Hello how long is the DBS valid for? I applied for a DBS back in November 2023 can I use the same DBS to sign up for the personal reference number? The DBS is enhanced and I precisely got it for the ADI so it does mention ADI on top of it If I can use it how long is it valid for? Is it 12 months 24 months or more or even less I’d appreciate the help thanks a lot I’m just abit confused here❤️
