What actually prompting is? Is it reminding you or is it hinting about things? Is Q/A different than prompting?

A prompt is about being proactive rather than reactive. It’s trying to prevent the known fault from happening again. So the instructor can ask a question, give a prompt to remind or help the pupil from doing it again. For example, which lane will you use to go ahead at this roundabout?

I thought it was only 3 minutes allowed at the beginning? Is it different in Scotland?
