Excellent review as always. Personally I would like to see a comparison review with Nimbus 26 and NB freshfoam 1080 v14. Allthough Adizero at a lower pricing level , I got the impression that they all belong to the comfort allrounder group.

This upper is inspired by a 2004 Toshiaki Omori designed Japan exclusive called the adizero PR. It’s one of the shoes that kicked off adizero Running. adidas just retro’d the adizero PR in some regions (I copped the carbon-core black cw from a German boutique). I’m not sure why adidas didn’t specifically call out the PR in the marketing of the ARUKU, but it may have something to do with U.S. runners holding all those early Japanese adizero releases in high regard. I, as an example, chose to import the PR over copping the ARUKU domestically. All the midsole and outsole tech is removed from the PR to make it a viable casual wear shoe. I know because I ran in other 2000s adizero shoes. The ARUKU is cool. I especially dig it in the blue-yellow cw, but the white-red is the iconic cw. I hope this helps, Hes. ✌🏽💙👟

There's 7 colors as of right now. I actually saw someone wearing a color several weeks ago just at the grocery store and they're not one of the colors that's available on Adidas website so I'm not sure where they got them. I like the idea I'll just wait until more colors become available.
