I genuinely belive your next marathon will be it, the 2:55 marathon goal. It’s crazy how you’re still learning even after 9 years and 11 marathons. 8:32 Shoes didn't the main problem. Look at your arm at this moment in vid. You have goosebumps, because you're dehydrated. Something goes wrong with fueling. You tried to take a lot of energy in gels and water, but maybe it wasn't enough. That's really hard to do correct. And with this problems you did really good result. Good luck and i wish you achieve the goal on the next marathon!

what ive learned from using supershoes such as my Vaporflys is that you have to use the for speed work alot to get used to them. as a xc runner i never used them for a race. but for a half marathon i used them after getting 50 miles of speed work in. i used them once for an earlier race and it messed up like it messed you up. you just have to get used to the spring effect it has

Runner from puerto rico here, its amazing what you achieved even though you didn’t got it, you still cant forget to never give up. That’s the real purpose of life, to have a set of goals and see yourself progress to achieve it one day. This wasn’t the run, but it doesn’t mean that the run you are waiting for will not come someday, you just got to give the 110%!
@lucky-tv7ut2 ай бұрын
Hey man. I just came across your video and it feels inspiring to me seeing you go through this journey. I'm a swimmer in college and I've been trying to reach a sub 6-minute 500 meter freestyle. I spent a whole year trying to reach that goal only to end my season with a 6:00:22, .23 of a millisecond away from my goal. To make it worse, a guy on my team, who didn't even know how to swim, and started a semester later than me, ended up beating my time with around a 5:30, while I felt like I spent my entire life swimming and couldn't make it. It felt humiliating and I've stopped swimming since. This video just felt relatable to me on many levels and I know how frustrating it is to just not be able to achieve this goal you felt like you dedicated your whole life and training to. I hope to start swimming again and be able to achieve this goal but at the moment, it feels depressing to start again. I hope that one day, we are both able to achieve our goals so continue working at it!
