Adidas Adizero Boston 11 Running Shoe Review

The Boston series of running shoes has been a mainstay of the Adidas running line since 1984, but last year's Adizero Boston 10 blew up expectations with a complete overhaul of the midsole. The changes left a lot of folks wondering what Adidas was doing with the Boston. This year, Adidas released the Adizero Boston 11 with the same midsole as the 10 but a completely new upper, and it feels like the Boston may be back on track to be a lot of folks' go-to speed shoe.

Curious to try this but the takumi sens 8 is the perfect speed training shoe at least for me. Just so many good options out now , speed2 and V3, novablast3 Etc, golden era of running shoes 👍

Having bad knees these are very good walking shoe. Excellent ventilation too. If you like to cross shop these are comparable to Hoka 8's. But these come with a carbon plate to boot. An excellent walking shoe.

I have the 10 about 250 it’s still fine. Creasing is there, but still comfy. Just bought 11 $55 bucks and actually fits better. Using as speed and hard days. Triumph is recovery. I will say Adidas makes a good looking shoe. Can’t stop flicking the 11. Fun video and good insights.

I ended up hating the shoe. As. Running shoe it was flawed. I used them for walking all day and they were fine. They were just not as good as the 10.

Why wouldnt you use them a as a daily trainer?

The Boston used to be my go-to daily trainer (the 7 an 9 were all-time faves), but Adidas lost me with the 10. The Adios has sort of filled that space but not quite. I hope they bring it back to what it was someday.

Curious what you are wearing now? My last Boston was the 6 which I have stuck to the last several years, but it's time for a new one. I'm also not finding the appeal of all this extra foam.

Wrestler here,,cardio/weight cuts only 4 my running.. but getting into ruining very beginner. A good shoe for me? 5"10 195lbs over kill?

this can be a good daily shoe if they removed the plate and rods, made the lightstrike softer or add more lightstrike pro. It doesnt need to be a tempo shoe its too heavy and the takumi sen is the way better tempo shoe. Its to firm, adidas needs to understand this. Adidas needs a good daily trainer and this can be it, if they made it more comfortable and soft, they have fast shoes.

Yes, and it works and adds no weight. It's on the Prime X Stung and I use it.

The tongue was fine for me , but the right shoe took the skin off my right ankle, never had this with any other shoe . Ps i find the firmness ok

That shoe hurts my right foot😁i even cut the side. Of the tongue to let my leg move freely! Still stiff though, slow to respond too! Cushion is good though! Heavy shoe for skinny runners but for us Heavyweights its okay we can push strong 30km straight without getting tired! Daily trainer

I recently bought the Boston 11 and the tongue hurts me too. Did you just cut the one side or both?

I've heard the heavyweight note before. I'm 280 currently using the sl 20.2 as my daily. Would you recommend?
