Im glad your still old enough to appreciate rocking basketball shoes casually, growing up on the east coast it was common to see people rocking hoop shoes casually(mainly kobes and lebrons) kind of rare nowadays to see people rocking hoop shoes off-court. AE1 is definatley one of the best hoop shoes of the year looks and performance wise, Im holding out for the "velocity blue" pair definatley wish these would of come with th green laces he actually wore them with in the all star game.

Waiting for my pair to arrive. Was a must cop the moment I saw these. I have the blue pair with white laces and have balled in these a couple times and are great. Will definitely do the green lace swap. Sizing for me is a little different than yours. I went true to size for bball. Have a size 10 and are great fit. Same as my JA1s and Jordan 38s. 😂I usually wear 10.5 in AJ1 and 3. Have a 10.5 in the new Bred 4s. Size 10 in AF1. Great review and on feet! These are my favorite colorway. Can’t wait to get the Eggplant foams. Love the iridescent purple color!

I think I’d go opposite of you - All Star version first, then blue, then that orange/pink one. I feel like these might be easier to match with and I don’t like that suede patch on the toe box of the first two pairs. Seems like that would look dingy if it got wet from rain for example

You do the best on feet!! Most ppl won't think to on feet this type of shoe. It really helps me make a cop or not decision fam!!!

These are definitely the #1 colorway to date. While the green laces looked fun during the All-Star weekend, they look like a child’s shoe when worn in street clothes. Definitely stick with the black laces.

Haven't heard anyone talk about this yet in any review but these feel too loose in the toe box. With the small loop to start the laces there is no way to tighten them closer towards the toe box. I tried to play in the first night and seemed ok but thought my feet were sliding around slightly. Not enough lock down for sure. Played again back to back nights and I was starting to get blisters. Different socks to make sure. Not sure what to do. Half size down I don't think will fix this issue for me. There is just too much room in the toe box resulting in too much movement in the foot when cutting or planting. Sucks. I loved these but these are not going to work for me.

No, they don’t come with extra laces 😑, and they’re super long, I had to go a half size down, otherwise they look like a half size too big… they look pretty dope, just with they came with purplish laces and the half size down is pretty tight, and they don’t breath well
