Anthony Edwards, despite the current dilemma, is quickly becoming my favorite nba player. That being said, the Trae young 3, the Don Issue 5, the Harden Volume 7 (8 looks promising) have been probably adidas best full display of signature shoes in a while. I’m also excited for Dames new shoe, as he is long overdue for a new shoe.

The is a pretty sick design. I like wild wraps and shit thrown onto shoes sometimes like the giant wing on the Penny 1. Love how it also wraps around through the midsole and outsole and just...flows man. They also look comfy as hell. No chance I'll ever wear these in the office but if I can get my lazy ass back on the basketball court again some day who knows!

First, love the podcast and all the nerd shit. Great to see you guys branching out. 2nd, in a year where Nike's given us downgraded tech and shittier shoes for higher prices, Adidas could actually make a comeback with the AE's. This is the first new shoe I've looked forward to in a long-ass while and it looks legit between price/tech/performance. If Adidas can keep building on this, we might actually see some viable competition between the big 2. Also, Jodi being here for the tea with Ant is hilarious. Kid is def making some of those Zion moves off the court lol.

I was almost upset they sold out in my size (13) but footlocker added more pairs and was able to cop. I can’t explain it either but these shoes are just a new and unique design. I love that Adidas is really taking focus on their basketball line. The DONs too, the design is just phenomenal. I’m excited to get these in the mail. Thanks for these great reviews! They save me a lot of money and time! My fav shoe is the Jordan 36 because of the max cushioning in the forefoot and the eclipse plate that provides massive energy return. Anyone aware of any other shoes that are comparable? Only issues with the J's are width and a little forefoot instability. Wade 10’s don’t provide the same springboard effect as the J’s.
