Adidas Busenitz Pro Skate Shoe Wear Test Review - Tactics

Inspired by the Copa Mundial, Dennis's favorite soccer cleat from back in the day - now constructed for skateboarding. The low profile lightweight cupsole gives the shoe ample support, while the molded sock liner provides comfort and impact cushioning. The GEOFIT collar molds to your ankle for an anatomical fit and the customizable tongue offers some added flare.

One of my all-time low profile cupsoles.Vulc-like boardfeel, good heel lock and ankle support, and amazing flick. Shame it doesn't have amazing cushioning. Guess that's where the Suciu comes in. As always, Tim is a beast! You gotta do some trick tip videos, man. Your board control is wild! 🙌🏻

Think I'm gonna get these again. Shoes were absolute magic the first time I put them on. Flicked beautifully, and would never get caught on the grip tape. They felt broken in from the first treflip.

I wish the shoe had tongue centering elastic straps. I also wish that the forefoot area had some cushion. I had to stop skating mine years ago, my forefoot would ache so much, I just couldn't deal with it

Wow, looking half-destroyed after 3.5 weeks and that's considered durable? 😬 How many shoes do you go through per year? They should make some skate shoes out of kevlar or something, seems like it'd be worth the money in the long run!

he skates way more frequently than the average skater. so it probably takes you and me 3 month of "hard" skating to get that kind of wear

I love my Busenitz Pros. I'm on my 3rd pair. I add in the Footprint Kingfoam insoles, but I'm also +230 lbs, so I need the extra cushion. I also have the same issue with the tongues falling toward the outside of the shoe! Really wish the tongue had an elastic band like lots of other shoes do. Great skating btw. That looks like a really chill little park! Curious where it is? Looks newer.

I love the look and feel of these shoes. I found the suede to be very durable. I just hate how the tongue always veers off to the side. It would be so much better if it had elastic straps holding it in place.

i know u probably have new skate shoes now lmao but try looping a lace from each side through the tongue hole and then back the same way . it really holds it in place

If you don't want the tongue to veer off , just pass the laces inside it and tie it up as normal .

How’s the outsole? I find that the grip wears down super fast on Vans and wears a hole pretty quick

The rubber on the outsole on the Busenitz Pros is a lot denser and tougher than the Vans rubber because since it's a cupsole and never got baked in an oven, the structural integrity of the rubber is much stronger and lasts a long time. I wore a hole in the kickflip spot before getting bald spots on the tread. The grip grooves are much deeper on the heel end and thin out toward the toes, but it stayed grippy thought the whole life of the shoe. I hope that helps! - Tim

Yes, I wear a size 8 and I would say these fit true to size. My foot is on the wide side but I was able to get my foot in easily, and the toe box didn't feel too long in the front. - Tim

Damn. I think I’m the only person who suffers from skating in these. Maybe it’s ‘cause I got wide feet also, but even on long walks these shoes hurt my heels as well as the arches of my feet. And the board-feel on these just isn’t there for me, which is surprising because of how sock-like the toe area is. Not the skate shoe for me I guess. The black with brown sole and white stripes colorway I own does look sick though and goes well with a lot of my clothes, so that’s the only big upside to em’!
