I bought the pro version a few months back but just tried them now. The grip was just not there for me for some reason. I did the usual cleaning before first use with water and used special glove cleaner after every session, so they are clean. But for some reason I never the grip I would have liked, so from my experience I wouldn't recommend them. Great review anyways. Keep it up and get well soon!

Hey Alberto, i got a small question for you, and would really appreciate an answer - is there any sort of sprints you could recommend to increase anaerobic performance for goalkeepers? I'm asking for sprints specifically because i would like to do them with my girlfriend who isnt s goalkeeper. Things like 50 meter/25 meter sprint repeats, etc. Thanks in advance!

yes! goalkeepers do HIIT training or Hight intensity interval Training the secret word youre looking for is pleiometrics (or plyometrics im not a good word guy) look that up online and start doing some of the exercises that remind you most of goalkeeper training. I promise you all pro coaches are using pleiometric exercises

These were absolutely terrible for me. Lots of bunching, horribly uncomfortable on my pinky. I had the right size but these just weren't it. Sticking to One, Kaliaaer, and reusch Duo if I'm feeling spicy

As a counterpoint, I disagree with the thinking that a lack of tackiness/stickiness "isn't great". I'm no Adidas defender (I would never purchase any of their current glove range in fact), but it's very unfair to brush off a glove as "lower grade/class" just because the latex does not stick to everything. Sticky latex does NOT equate to performance in any form. It lasts for a game or two at most before the stickiness goes away, and the user has to rely on the natural properties and qualities of the latex from henceforth. If the glove is poorly made and possesses poor materials but is artificially treated with all the tacky chemicals in the world (see: Gripmode gloves), the grip and performance of the gloves will fall apart in no time. Conversely, gloves with good latex need no "sticky treatment" at all. Many of the established brands (Sells, Puma, pre-G3 Reusch to name a few) have never been known for their tackiness but have been established to be quality gloves. Giga grip is one of my go-to latexes for this reason. It does not showcase any "TikTok/Influencer-worthy" features like sticking to posts/balls/itself, but performs well in more conditions than many tacky latexes, while possessing greater longevity due to it's quality. I think it's easy to wow ourselves with gloves with "crazy" features like neoprene backs, flashy colours and super sticky palms, especially in today's age of influencers and social media shorts, but we need to start looking at gloves objectively; not with the surface-level features that we see or hear on first impression, but how they perform over time without these extra distractions that sway buyers' decisions unduly.

It seems like you haven’t listened to the review or you’re harping on the stickiness part of the glove when I cover this significantly and the URG 2.0 is not sticky nor is it durable at all so it isn’t near the conversation of a giga grip or any other latex even contact at half of its price performs better than the urg 2.0. In terms of durability and stickiness. This is a 130 glove that rips after just a few catches and has little to no stickiness at this price range you can find several brands that are battling for the best latex position and neither URG 2.0 or 1.0 is in that conversation. So while I kinda agree with your points here it really has nothing to do with this review as I point out how the glove is overpriced and not durable at all.
