These always reminded me Of the Wade 1 Converse that D-Wade wore when he won his first chip and dominated the lane, Rose was instantly the Shiiiii when dicing defenders the same way .. there will always be a piece of nostalgia with this shoe

I grabbed a pair because of three reasons. 1 cause they were available in my size which doesn't happen that often. 2 adidas let me use my member discount on them. And 3 cause Bryan (Duke4005) said these are a must cop and made valid points. I got em and was not disappointed but this snowstorm has kept me from getting some run in them ( cue the donkey)

Haven't played in them yet but the Lightstrike cushion is definitely an improvement after playing in the 1 recently. I'm hoping the traction is better but I could just be spoiled from playing in the Curry 8s. I went down half a size and they fit perfect! Sucks how no company has consistent sizing lol

bit late here lol but if u want consistent sizing, use EU sizing. EU is consistent amongst all shoe brands

Yes use EU or CM sizing.

@@diegolopez-duran5885 EU, cm sizing is the FR and CN, which is less consistent among my shoes. Basically, i wear a 47.5-48.5, which is nike/puma US13/14 and adidas US12.5/13

Just got done playing in them and the cushion is so much more comfortable. Break them in and they get soft. Its wayyy better compared to the original cushioning used in 2011.

Also remember if you want them to last long play only on wood courts. Wouldn't play outside with them at all!

Haven't played Basketball in almost a decade, but, these were the most lightweight and comfortable shoes I've ever worn back in the day. I have really wide feet and this was one of the first shoes to ever fit well.

Im letting go of my rose 1 retro because I got these restomods. These are my current favorite shoes to play with (tied with mb 1s), Traction is A+ on dusty courts, but not as durable as I would want.

What's crazy about the fit with these is that I don't think you're in the wrong for forgetting what size you are. A lot of people argue that last year's 1.5, fits best for performance if you go down half a size, due tothem stretching out once you play in them a bit. I'm still healing from my ankle fracture but look forward to trying these out on the court. Great review yall!

Just retired my old adirose 2.5s. These look so damn good, but ended up going with the kyrie infinity’s cause they were on sale for $70 and felt more secure. Adidas needs to restomod the crazy 8!!

Bought 4 pairs just to have. 3 blk 1 red & gray color scheme. That's how much I like the comfort but still needs more cushioning, little more grip on bottom, but like the TS Supernatural *(which is the most comfortable shoe I ever played in then John Wall 1) prior 1 &1.5 just comfortable feeling. I like the styles of 1 and 1.5... but 1.5 definitely beats 1 in comfort (mesh material) although same bottom.

On the original 1.5s I was a size 10.5 and size 10 was tight. Now trying this on a size 10 in-store it fits so well. $150 is pretty high for these. Hoping they go on sale and when I strike a good deal for this will play ball with them.

Had these shoes back in 2011 remember it was my birthday and my mom picked me up from school to buy me the shoes for my birthday and went to the water tower downtown adidas store when they came out this shoe was so popular during 2011 cause Derrick won the MVP with these . The bottom of the shoe starts ripping over time and they worn out on me had to throw em out hoping that’s something adidas improved in this restomod with the bottom ripping . After that its been almost 10-11 years of looking for another pair of these and couldn’t find em for that long these shoes where very hard to find . When i heard adidas was bringing these back i was super excited and ordered 7 pairs lol right away . These are my favorite basketball shoes behind the adidas rose supernatural creator ts . Hoping adidas brings back the rose ts . Those where super comfortable and grippy on the basketball court and good looking just like these 1.5 .

I got these and I am so happy they restomodded this with the white toe cap because I have the OG pair and could never bring myself to wear them. This design and colorway is my #1 best looking D Rose shoes of all time. I grabbed a pair for sentimental reasons and can finally play in them. The white toe and silver adidas logo is built nicer on the OG pair. Nevertheless, excited to play in these and re-live NBA's youngest MVP D Rose moment.

Hope DRose wear the restomods of his line. The DRose line looks great (except the 1 and 2) and performs great especially for shifty guards like how DRose plays now. Heres hoping adidas comes up with the 3 and 3.5 restomods cause those were my favorites

Been playing in these for a month and a half and only have one complaint, the cila traction is wearing down extremely fast and I have only used these on indoor courts.

Also how are we supposed to deal with adidas sizing? Dame line 1/2 size down then Hardens true to size for 1-3 then down half a size for 4.. oh the Rose restomod true to size. Its kinda a mess really and for people who don't live in big cities(Me) you have to rely on performance reviews to tell you what to order, otherwise you can't try them on in store as most stores in my part of the world don't have them. This is why you gotta appreciate Chris because he is basically taking it on the chin at his expense so that we know what and what not to buy... With no real brand backing... #4thalove #4thaculture. First time grabbing the 1.5. I bought them for causal wear. This is the first time in a long time that a non boost shoe caught my attention and got them since they look clean. I also had a 30% members coupon which I was able to use on them.
