It is refreshing to hear you say that this shoe can be functional as a daily trainer and doesn't necessarily force you to go fast. Most reviewers say this shoe is not a good one for daily miles and rather better for faster paces.

Love this shoe. I run as fast in them as in plated alternatives. So comfortable and light and gives back way more than the Superblast. A great deal too. So unlike you it really does blow me away! I’ll be buying a second pair soon in black.

Love the review, very real, very honest. In the market for something to replace my Endorphin Speed 3 which is doing all my tempo, sessions, and anything where I want lighter weight. Mach 6 didn’t work, but this is looking very nice as an option vs the Zoom fly 6 and the deviate nitro 3.

Love the channel and enjoyed your long run collab with Sota , hey I have the Superblast 1 and 2 in a size 10 US and alot of other shoes including the novablast i go 10 but many shoes im in size 10,5 , i went shorter in the SUperblast as i found them quite long , i was wondering are you the same size in your superblast and this ?

@stevros48 I've gone for the 10.5 on the evo and the superblast- i needed the 10.5 for the superblast but i reckon i could have got the 10 for the evo sl- little more room

Sounds good as a daily and will give it a try when it’s available 😂. Had Novablast 4 and found it very ‘meh’ / kinda boring. Snagged some pairs of SL2 for half price last week in the sales but want to pick this up as a daily. Love Superblast 2 for long/progressive runs (third pair in storage due to them going out of stock all the time). Seems most brands have good options and rotations for the most part.

@andydevinewine yeah definitely got the protection and a bit of pickup for marathon pace- I'd say it only starts to struggle getting into 10k and 5k pace segments

Enjoyed the review mate. Quick Q - looking to build out my shoe rotation for an upcoming marathon training block. Would it be silly of me to invest in both the EVO SL (for long runs) and Mizuno's mystery shoe (daily trainer)? Are they too similar in terms of what they're delivering? I've looked at the Superblast as a bit of a "do it all" option but, for whatever reason, I've never felt great in a pair of Asics.

@josepharthur330 nah not silly at all- those two together could be the best 2 shoe rotation getting around. Soft bouncy for the daily stuff from the zen, then some more refined efficiency for the longer and slightly up-tempo stuff. I think together they fill a superblast sized hole with the benefit of rotating load on the body

How does the sizing of Evo SL compare to Boston 12? Is it same size similar fit? Or is it shorter in length and narrower in toebox?

Would have exchanged for half size down, but they were all sold out during the sale... (Adidas sizing is all over the place. My Adios 8 is TTS, but Agravic 3 is half size up.)

Hi, Can you please guide me if I need to buy this shoe in Australia from where can I buy? Because i dont see it anywhere on Adidas site. Secondly I need your opinion I am planning to run my first ever marathon in this shoe, Do you recommend this shoe keeping in mind its my first marathon I am not a fast runner hoping to get it done in 4 to 5 hrs. I have never used Adidas shoes before and I am only considering this shoe because of its budget friendly price and I hear it is a nice shoe. If you can get both Evo SL and Superblast 2 but only training up to HM aiming for sub 1:50, is SB2 to overkill?

@Alexb0530 i think that higher price point for the superblast definitely makes it a luxury rather than a need, evo has enough pace to get you through 1:50 i reckon, superblast maybe marginally better

I just hate how there’s no medial support for the entire adizero line. ASICS models on the other hand, on point for support.

I hate wearing white running shoes. Every time I wear mine it rains mid run. Doesn’t happen with my other shoes thats not white.
