I like that they included an insole. On the original NMD's the boost becomes brown and absorbs sweat witch cannot be cleaned and ruins the longevity.

i finally got the new NMD S1, they are fairly comfortable, but to my taste, I find the Alphaboost V1 to me even more comfortable, i was surprised to discover that. the NMD s1 are a bit stiff, because of the sides. I still like them, but not as much as the alphaboost V1s, just saying.

alpha boost v1 and plr boost are the most comfortable shoes that arent ultraboost imo.. Alpha boost v1 fits wide feet well

From the look of it, it seems like the S_1 has a cupsole compared to r1 and ultraboost who have the outsole layer glued to the boost? I prefer cupsole coz glued outsole will peel off the boost after few years

Hows the traction on this compared to prev nmd r1s & can this pair be coated with crep/other repellent sprays without affecting the colour of the shoes? Also, do u think the nmd s1 midsole encasing covering the boost could start yellowing?

Older NMD R_1s where good looking and generally a great shoe, new ones are clownshoes with too much boost. Comparing new R_1 with S_1 the S_1 wins by far

I love the s1 except for the outsole it's horrid.... I dare anyone to walk across a mall parking lot in the s1 and say they never picked up a crap ton of debris the entire walk in the shoe 10 fold compared to the r1. On a side note and I'm really not busting on you dude but you call the ultra boost 21 and performance running shoe I'm part of a running club and no one thinks that is a performance running shoe. Just saying.

UB 21 is a performance oriented shoe stuck in no man's land. Some casual runners use them and some use them as a lifestyle shoe. It's kinda like Nike releases a new Air Max/Vapormax every year but use Zoom X on all the real running shoes (like Adidas with Lightstrike Pro).

Honestly the only Adidas I like anymore are just the Ultraboost line. The NMD is ugly IMO and the old ones were blah. I like some of the Yeezy stuff but kinda don’t think about those as Adidas. To me right now, New Balance has the best releases and shoes on the market
